My mom recently stayed at Shady Nook and the entire experience was wonderful. The admission process was a breeze and every question we had was answered thoroughly, which made us feel very comfortable right away. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the residents. It’s reassuring to know your loved one is in a place where people go above and beyond.

Finding a place for a loved one can be difficult rather it's for a short term or long term stay. So many questions concerns and sometimes fears come up. I've personally been there a few times so I know the struggles! I've had a loved one placed here for rehab on two separate occasions and I can tell you they have one of the best therapy teams, all of them very dedicated to getting patients and families ready for the transition back to home. All the CNAs and Nurses were so caring and did such an amazing job! Every staff member we came across was so friendly and helpful.

Love seeing the smiles on the residents faces! Thats how you know they feel at home! Clean, peacefully environment with a great rehab to home program. Staff is caring and compassionate not only about their residents but in their care taking roles. It's not uncommon to see staff engaging residents in conversation and daily activities to make them feel seen and heard.

The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and safe environment. It’s clear that the team works hard to make residents feel at home while also providing excellent medical and personal care. Communication with families is also outstanding, they are always willing to answer questions and keep loved ones informed. What stands out the most is the genuine kindness shown by the nurses, aides, and support staff. Their patience and commitment make a difficult transition much easier for both residents and families. I would absolutely recommend Shady Nook to anyone looking for a caring and professional place for their loved one.

Shady nook is a great nursing home with a wonderful team that is truly dedicated to family members. Nurses go out of their way to support patients and CNAs do a great job with care and kindness, even taking the time to sit and actually talk to the residents.
