Our mother was only in the Shady Lane Nursing Home for three months before she died. During that time, she received excellent care from Jena and her team on the fourth floor. Everyone was professional, competent, and efficient. Our family appreciated that high level of care, but we are also very grateful that they treated our mother with kindness and respect. They seemed to genuinely care about her and about making her comfortable. What wonderful caregivers!

The photo they show of the brand new building has been completely un-used since being built. I've inquired about this and they claim they cannot find enough staff to justify opening it and using it. I have a sneaking suspicion if they paid their employees more per hour, they could retain them for longer.<br>While visiting my step-mom, several of the CNAs/RA's also told me they are not allowed to have drinking water/cups on the floor or even behind the nurses station to drink while they are working. They are very dehydrated especially when it's 80-90 degrees out and there is no air conditioning. I honestly wouldn't work there either if that were the case, there has to be a solution to allow cups with covers somewhere on the floor so they can hydrate!

It was a very pleasant place to be while recovering. I was at assistant living for 7.mo. plus 6mo. At Shady Lane. All the staff did there best to help me. Would go back again.

I was there for rehab a few years back and when it came try to go home, I didn't want to leave! Excellent care,,& friendly staff.
