Seabury Heights | An RHF Community

Seabury Heights is a subsidized senior housing community for residents age 62 and older and individuals with disabilities located in Worcester, Massachusetts. The community offers spacious apartment living with 302 units across two nine-story buildings situated atop one of Worcester's Seven Hills, providing panoramic views of Worcester County and adjacent to Bell Pond.

One-bedroom apartments are 500 square feet and two-bedroom apartments are 800 square feet. Rent includes heat and hot water, with residents responsible for electricity. The community accepts Section 8 and Tax Credit programs depending on income, with HUD subsidizing the remainder of rent for qualifying residents. Seabury Heights maintains a waiting list for new applicants.

The community offers a range of social events and activities coordinated by an onsite Resident Services Coordinator, including monthly craft projects with local elementary students and blood pressure screening clinics provided by UMass Memorial nurses. Seabury Heights partners with the Worcester Police for Neighborhood Crime Watch programs and maintains a full-time Resident Security Coordinator on staff. The New England Affordable Housing Management Association has recognized Seabury Heights as a Community of Quality for achieving high standards in management, services, and personnel.

Located in central Worcester with convenient access to major highways, Seabury Heights is less than a mile from UMass Hospital, Memorial Hospital, and St. Vincent's Hospital. The community is within walking distance or a short bus ride to Restaurant Row on Shrewsbury Street, with the DCU Center, Worcester Art Museum, and Higgins Armory Museum easily accessible nearby.

Seabury Heights welcomes residents to bring small pets, with a limit of one animal per apartment. Dogs cannot exceed 25 pounds, and a refundable pet deposit of $150 is required, with payment arrangements available. Parking includes both resident-only and visitor spaces.
