Families consistently praise the staff's warmth and personalized attention. Food service, physical therapy, and the overall facility environment, described as bright, open, and impeccable, receive strong marks.

My loved one is in the Assisted Living Memory Care Unit at Scenic Hills at the Monastery, and I truly cannot say enough good things. Danielle, the Legacy Coordinator, runs daily brain-stimulating activities. I toured multiple other memory care units in the area before making this decision, and I never once witnessed cognitive activities actually happening during my visits. At Scenic Hills, they’re actively engaged — playing hand-eye coordination games, doing chair yoga, and even fun call-and-response questions (like “Little Miss Muffet”) that encourage residents to participate. Hearing the laughter — it honestly warms my heart. It sounds like children playing kickball. That joy matters. Connie, the Head RN, and Bill — her right and left hand 😉 — are absolutely AMAZING. The teamwork in this unit is something special. They serve meals family-style, which feels so personal and comforting. The entire unit is peaceful, and even the lobby feels more like a beautiful hotel than a facility. Would I refer friends or recommend Scenic Hills? One hundred times YES

Ferdinand Junior Auxiliary visited veterans here on Veterans Day. The nurses were absolutely fantastic and helpful in assisting the juniors to visit the residents and give out cards. Thank you so much.

We recently moved my mother in law to Scenic Hills. She had been in assisted living for 6 years at another facility and she needed more help and care. She is thriving and made the transition beautifully! I credit the incredible staff at Scenic Hills for her smooth move in and adjustment to her new home. The nursing care and physical therapy is first rate. She has been there six weeks and is already moving better than when she arrived. She enjoys the activities, the Thursday manicures and of course the Friday happy hour and musical entertainment. We could not be more pleased with the care she is receiving.

A family member is currently at Scenic for short term rehab. The facility is welcoming and the staff is professional. It is a very friendly place where employees thrive at making the residents enjoy their home, whether there short term or long term.
