About Scarlet Oaks Community

Scarlet Oaks Community is a skilled nursing facility that offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite stays. The community draws on years of hands-on skilled nursing experience, with a professional staff dedicated to resident care.

A specialized ventilator unit serves residents with diverse respiratory support needs, offering one of the more comprehensive respiratory care programs in the region. Newly renovated private rooms provide a peaceful, personalized space for residents.

Scarlet Oaks operates as part of a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), allowing residents to move smoothly between Assisted Living and Long-Term Care as their needs change.

The community is housed in the historic Scarlet Oaks Mansion, located in Cincinnati's storied Gaslight District. Once the home of George K. Schoenberger, the mansion reflects 19th-century architectural grandeur and now blends that heritage with modern care, set within the charm and character of one of Cincinnati's iconic neighborhoods.

This place is disgusting and there’s barely any staff there the two that I did get to talk to were rude and did not want to do their jobs. I will be looking for a new place for my Uncle ASAP. This place is a horrible place to bring your family just stand there as long as I did listening the aids were talking about roaches and their food and how they wouldn’t feed it to their dog but yet they’re feeding it to my family member. I set my car and cried after I left the place because it was so disgusting. The smell was horrible. It didn’t look put together like there’s no charisma about the place. There’s no Bright signs or nothing to make the place look happy it looks sad. They need new nurses. These nurses that are there now don’t wanna do their job as a matter of fact, I think I’ll be calling state today because I can only imagine how other residents are being cared for that have nobody to speak up for them.

This is the worst place to take your loved one there are roaches all over , they can’t keep the same staff every time I go there are diff nurses there. , I’ve had one I’ve trusted and I don’t see them there anymore, the never bath my aunt or even wash her face bc she is unable to do it . Everyone seems lazy . Current came during the night shift once because I got off work and I just wanted to check on her and everybody at the front desk was sleeping. Skip this place we are looking to take her elsewhere
