I was admitted following a terrible motorcycle accident. I was in two Trauma hospitals before coming here. I was still busted up badly & couldn't take care of myself @ home. I needed full care. This was my home for 6-7 weeks. I'm a retired nurse. This gives me a different perspective than most I believe. It's is also the third facility I've been in over my life from other accidents. Majority of the staff are very friendly & helpful. I was treated with respect & great care. So are the other patients I lived with. They are well staffed with CNA students, LVN students & student RNs. As well as full time employees. This makes such a difference. Most facilities are entirely under staffed & it hurts the care of patients. Not the case here. Majority of clients are happy, not much complaining. Smilies all around. Food is actually decent, I liked it for most of the time. Hats off to the chief, this is a difficult feat to accomplish for 200 people. If you ask for ice cream, or a cookie, etc. They will bring it to you. Even the administrative staff will take the time to speak with you & address any of your concerns. My biggest complaint is PT & OT. The people that work in here are great people. I'm not indicating this. I looked forward to going everyday. I wish they would have pushed me harder. It felt like I was being held back. Of the three SNF's I've been in, this is the best!!

I came to visit a friend here and the place seemed nice. The staff that helped me at the door even knew who I was just by telling them who I was visiting because my friend had spoken to her about me, I thought that was very sweet.
