Business office very rude. Talk down to. Being my own self esteem already low ,this is unacceptable. Activities friendly and efficient however , Bingo runs all day. After 3pm you're on your own.
Also I am paying hefty fee/rent and have insurance!! Rooms are bare and hospital like. I was just dumped here from another facility
This facility does not deserve even one star. My sister has been a resident here for ten years, and during that time she has experienced repeated neglect — including bedsores, MRSA, missing personal items, and ongoing failures in basic care.
The most recent incident is unacceptable. I received a call the night before, but no voicemail was left, and when I called back twice, staff denied that anyone had contacted me. They also told both me and my mother that my sister was “fine.”
The next day, I was suddenly informed that my sister had been sent to Valley Hospital because she was bleeding from her mouth. When I arrived, she had dried blood on her lips, teeth, trach, ear, and the back of her neck. This raises serious concerns about whether she was checked on at all during the night, especially since staff insisted she was fine when we called.
After years of issues, I am deeply concerned about the pattern of neglect and the lack of transparency. I have reported problems to the state before, yet nothing ever seems to change. I am worried that important information is not being documented accurately or passed on to the proper authorities. At this point, this facility needs a full investigation.
My sister has been a resident at Royal Springs, and I have had ongoing, serious concerns about her care. The facility is consistently understaffed, and it shows in her hygiene and daily treatment. Staff do not use the clothing, skin‑safe products, or hygiene items I bring for her, even though they are specifically chosen for her medical needs. Every time I ask why, I’m given a different excuse.
A few days ago, I found one of her gowns in her laundry basket completely soiled with old feces and urine. This tells me she is not being changed regularly, and no one informed me of any incident. For a resident who cannot speak for herself, this is extremely alarming.
On top of that, personal items I’ve purchased for her have gone missing or been stolen, and the facility has never provided a clear explanation. A Jerry chair/wheelchair that was ordered for her has also disappeared, and no one seems to know where it went or whether someone else is using it.
She is mentally aware but unable to speak, so she relies entirely on staff for her safety, dignity, and basic care. No family should have to constantly monitor a facility just to ensure their loved one is clean, protected, and respected. Royal Springs needs major improvements in staffing, accountability, communication, and security.
Condemn this facility NOWWWWWWW, how does a business leave a 77yr old woman at Dialysis!!!!!!! Howwwww?? Barbara,Colin,Odessa the State will hear from me soon. I called to ask why my Mom had not been picked up,The receptionist said "WE BUSY" !!!!!! Rehab blaming Davita and Vice Versa!! Its filthy & ran down! I have pictures. To whomever reads this, dont bring your loved ones here! I'm going to make SURE,this never happens again! And Barbara's ONLY solution was to get discharge papers ready!!!
-UPDATE: 2/19/2026, everyday it gets worse. Walked in on my Mom with the same filthy clothes on, unchanged and dirty. Me & my sister changed her clothes. Staff ONLY provides service when they see me getting off of the elevator. With the willingness me & my siblings have, HOPEFULLY she will be in a more penvironment & clean enviroment.
Been here since Dec 2022. Staff is friendly and professional. Meals are selected by myself, so anything served is what I like. Tested positive for Covid and was put in a special unit. After 10 days, tested negative. Covid Unit is now no more. No residents are testing positive. Room is semi-private. Have nice view of Del Webb Blvd and Rampart Plaza, with mountains in the distance. Have no problems with nurses or CNAs. Call buttons are answered asap. 7/20/25 - update to my previous message - don't know where these people are talking about but, we have a housekeeper in every day to empty trash, dust and mop floors. There is one CNA taking care of 13 patients, so maybe they don't respond to call button quickly. But they do respond within 20 minutes. They have bus service with RTC for those who wish to leave and go to doctors, etc. All patients are scheduled for showers twice a week. If they choose not to shower, then a bed bath is available.
