Stephanie runs a wonderful facility and is also hands on in all aspects of residents needs. She is cheerful and knowledgeable in knowing about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease . Rock Creek is very clean, cheerful and very beautiful. It offers so many activities and amenities to their residents. The food is also worth mentioning because it can be hard to meet everyone’s dietary needs and what we have seen so far looks appetizing. We are so happy we found Rock Creek. When a loved one is injured while in a caregiver's care, the organization might try to obscure the facts and provide an inaccurate account. Although most caregivers are committed to providing quality care, some individuals, like Shane, Stephanie and Rosa will prioritize protecting colleagues over truthful disclosure. This could lead to a distorted narrative about the incident. Family members need to be aware that their understanding may be based on incomplete information. I’ve seen a lot of stuff covered up over my years at this place.

Rock Creek definitely " Rocks" . I am leaving this reviews what I observed during my short visit there ,which was for employment ' s purpose. All I can say are positive things about this place. From the cleanliness of this community which is top notch, the front desk staff is welcoming and, corteous. Residents appeared to be happy and, well taken care from what I could see. Cindy was great , pleasant and knowledgeable.

After my father was discharged from the hospital this was the only place that would accept him and I was thankful for that.<br><br>The day he moved in was terrible. They put him in a shared room and the room smelled like urine. The dinner they served a scoop of chicken salad with 2 pieces of tomato and cucumber. After dinner my father didn’t feel well so my mother went to get a nurse. When they didn’t come I went to get them. Upon checking my father’s vitals they immediately called 911. His blood pressure was so low, he was grey and ice cold. Thank God we were there for him otherwise if they put him in his room he would have died. This was a blessing in disguise. We moved my father out and was able to get him into a beautiful memory care facility where he is thriving (as best as you can with dementia) has his own room and wonderful care

Total NEGLECT. My mother is DYING because of them. After a short 3 mths stay, where she walked into the place w a walker, talking, eating, however obviously confused as to where she was, my stepbrother sends me a photo of her, only 2 weeks later, of her slumped over in a wheelchair w a towel around her neck. I asked her why are u in a wheelchair and she said because they can get me around faster. It went downhill from there. She became lethargic, was always in bed when I called. After several trips to the hospital, and Shane the head nurse telling me we may need to change her antibiotics,and me finally insisting on having her brought back to the hospital, the emergency room Dr told me they all GASPED when they saw her UNSTAGAEBLE BEDSOARE. She had wounds all over her body, necrosis on her feet and I was told she won't make it thru the weekend. I have photos to proof it. I was told by all hospital staff that this was total NEGLECT on the facilities part. I was never told how bad her condition was, I live in New York, so it was easy for them to cover it up. Stephanie, Shane and the Dr all told me oh nooo, she doesn't have a bed soar, it's only a scratch, LIARS!!!Thank God I insisted on her being taken to the hospital. She would have been dead within 3 days.They also do not have a computer to keep patients records. I called many times and different nurses had no idea where the records where, maybe here , maybe there, unbelievable<br>Do NOT take your loved ones there. The staff Eddie is abusive and I filed a police report . My poor stepdad is still there, not my choice, and is skinny and always dirty when I see him. They only care about the money, not about their patients.
