Today at 4:55PM, my wife and I noticed a dog locked in a black Subaru (it's 83 degrees out) in THEIR PARKING LOT, so I called the front desk to look into it. The woman at the front desk wanted no part of it and said it wasn't her problem. I guess the life of living creatures doesn't matter at a center for living. Strange. Your receptionist on duty is an absolute joke. I called the Rose building, and they got right on it, AND they took it way more serious.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. I still get so upset thinking about this place. My Grandma was here for around a month and the neglect she experienced was unfathomable. No one bothered to help her with activities of daily living. I see other reviews mentioning sores/ people sitting in their own fecal matter, and that’s exactly what happened to her. She was not treated with even an ounce of dignity. Notice how no one from management has followed up on any of the (very many) negative reviews. These people truly do not care. I don’t know how they’re able to sleep at night.

My grandmother stayed at Robeson after hip surgery,the staff were kind she was treated with respect and dignity and she was able to go home and have a soft landing. The communication was good between the team and myself because I live out of state and I wanted to make sure things were going well and the team kept me informed. We so appreciate the care and support.

Our family’s experience with Robison Jewish Health Center/Harold Schnitzer Center for Living has been truly meaningful. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes residents and families feel welcomed, respected, and cared for. The caregivers are compassionate, patient, and attentive, always treating residents with dignity and kindness. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and has a warm atmosphere that helps residents feel at home rather than in a traditional nursing facility. Communication with staff has always been professional and reassuring, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the well-being and happiness of the people living there. What stands out most is the sense of community and humanity throughout the center. The team goes above and beyond to provide not only quality care, but also emotional support and meaningful connections for residents and families alike. I’m incredibly grateful for the dedication and compassion shown here every day. "With Love, Honor, and Respect" this is the quote from Michael the care manager’s email signature line, nothing could be further from the truth! It’s all about money. We transitioned my mom from Providence St. Vincent to the rehab after she had influenza A. She had been living independently all her life and needed care (she was on oxygen) for a short period of time. During the first meeting (two weeks in) with the care team we were told that she was doing well and could return home soon, nothing was mentioned about the timelines for her stay and although they thought it could be another week we would need to evaluate her condition. I called a second meeting because she expressed a desire to move into Assisted Living. Once she said this, I notified them in email. Nothing was mentioned about meeting with us, I asked for the meeting. The PT person Karen kept asking her if she was sure as if we had forced her to go into Assisted Living, this was my mom’s decision. We were assured they would not “kick her to the curb” during our first meeting but that’s just what they did, giving me less than 10 days (a week from the second meeting which I requested) to find a place and move her to a new apartment or pay close to 600.00 per day to keep her there until we could secure a nice place where she would receive support. If I had not asked for this second meeting, I would’ve had 3 days the timeline they give after you are notified that the resident is ready to leave. The staff (Karen and Sarah) were rude, unhelpful, and just stared at us when we said you realize you are giving me less than 10 days to tour facilities and make the necessary arrangements (contract, health records, movers, packing etc.) and my mom is 89! I’m told this is the way of the world and it happens all the time. I don’t write reviews, but my only recourse is to warn others and share my experience. I think these facilities need to do a better job of explaining the timelines and costs to family up front. It feels like they say only what they have to and if you don’t ask they don’t volunteer useful information so the family can plan. The general care staff were nice for the most part although my mom had problems with Nathan who was rude to her and she lost even more weight because the food was not good weighing 110 pounds when she left. The folks at the nursing station are not welcoming and the vibe is please leave us alone. You must stand at the door and often they just ignore you. My grandmother lived at the Robison Home and died there; it was a very different place back in the 90’s. If you can find another facility for your loved one, take them there and try to avoid this place, it’s not worth the stress. Live your values Robison Home or take them off your email.
