-I would like to give this place Negative Stars!!! This place is filthy!!! The roaches are almost running the business, then they had the nerve to spray the room were my Mom had to sleep in that night. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!! The cute little picture of the white people sitting outside on the bench that makes it look as if its welcoming is a lie! There is nothing welcoming about this place. My Mother walked in a beautiful ray of sunshine and left in an ambulance in only 7 months. She was suppose to have a team of Drs with a care plan to help her get back to society, the only reason she was temporarily placed there. She could not get assistance with getting bathed, she had someone wash her back once. She wasn’t getting help with laundry or getting dressed. She had gotten to the point she could not use her hand, or barely walk. There is an onsite Dr. that obviously she never seen because he/she should have been able to see the decline in her health. We were seeing it, and reaching out to her case worker but they dropped the ball as well. She was prescribed medication for schizophrenia non FDA approved, she is not schizophrenic. She sleep all the time, and she was like a zombie. The morning of Friday Feb 9th they found her in bed unable to wake her with drool coming out of her mouth. They stated all the signs of a stroke, but later that was found to not be true. While the nurse at CarolinaEast was examining Mama she found bruising on her. I’m just going to say this, Riverstone staff chose the wrong Mama to neglect, disrespect, and treat less than what her value is. Just when you think someone with mental challenges don’t hear, see or can comprehend what’s been done to them, it comes back to slap you in the face!!!! at

When my father first complained of chest pains, help should have been called. He was told that he would have to wait. Turns out, he was having a massive heart attack. Negligence! Is what this is.
