From Deacon Robert B. Barber, Sr. The Barber family is overjoyed to share a 5-star experience at Restore Health Rehabilitation Center, White Plains, MD. From the moment my wife Deaconess Doris Ann Barber arrived, the staff made her feel welcomed and cared for. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication was evident in every interaction. The nurses and caregivers always exceeded expectations, attending to her needs quickly and compassionately. Especially Sandie, DeNelle and Shola. The attention and sincere care they provide is beyond expectation. The facility itself is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The shared areas are inviting, and the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully arranged to maximize comfort and privacy. Overall, I highly recommend this nursing facility to anyone seeking exceptional care for themselves or their loved ones. The environment is safe, supportive, and truly feels like home. Thank you to the entire team for making this such a positive experience!

This place is fabulous . My father has been there the last week and a half and has improved so much. The staff and therapists are awesome and take pride in the care they give . My father spirits are the highest they have been in months . He gets therapy everyday . He’s able to go outside in the courtyard which he loves to do . He’s able to move around freely and visit other patients . His stay has helped him physically, mentally, and socially .

Our Mother Ms. Ruby was here for 3 weeks. In that time family was there every day. Her room was not cleaned for 10 days. We asked and were told on several occasions her hair would be washed, never happened. When pushing call button, a light comes on above the outside of room door. Staff would come in and turn it off and say someone would be in most times we would have to push it again before we got assistance. One time I asked them not to clear the call button light and was told it was timed. So it's turned off quickly to show response time when actually there's no response to patient needs. The time to get soiled garments changed took an hour 90% of the time. During mealtime nurses and aides pass out food trays which means patients are left in soiled clothing for up to two hours. We were asked several times with a doubtful tone if our mother walked on her own before she came to Restore. To which we answered she used her walker and could get up on her own and take care of her personal needs. This was very difficult for us to see such a quick decline. Definitely part of the problem is they need more staff to handle patient care. The morning of February 25, 2026, the OT therapist had to bring my mother back to her room because she was in so much pain and could not do the therapy. She was comforting my mother when the nurse came in and scolded the therapist and said not to console her. She seemed angered by my mother's issue. Very concerning reaction to say the least. I was not present at the time, but my sister was and did not report this. The day after this happened my mother was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Apparently, she was in worse condition than we knew. She passed away 6 days later. I would like to end on a positive note. Donna, Fadeke, and Suzanne were our Wonderful Angels. Thank you to the 3 of you for all your caring and hard work! G. McIntire

My dad has been admitted there for a week, now. I was told he'll have physical therapy every day of the week. So, far he's only had it on Monday and Friday. It only happened on Friday. Because family was there visiting and concerned as to why he hasn't been getting any therapy. Since he's been there all they have him doing is staying in bed. I was there on one occasion. He was completely soiled. I'm talking through his bedding. They have not meeting his needs. He came in there needing physical therapy for strengthening. What little strength he has. Is slowly disappearing. I've also noticed the worker's who bathe, bed bath that is, the patients, and change the bed lines. They also serve the food trays and collect them. Which means some patients care goes undone. While staffing is distributing, and collecting the food trays. They can't do it all. This place is in need of more staffing on patients care, ADL'S. The bedroom, and bathroom floors hasn't been attended to, while he's been there. The same stains has been on the floors for the past few days. Some of the staff there are great. They other staffing could be overwhelmed by the amount of work that's required of them. To me you all's mission hasn't been met, as of yet. I'm going to give it some time; to see if there's been any improvement. This place presents very well, Very Welcoming.

When I tell you this place is amazing! It’s clean and the staff is phenomenal. I have to give a special shout out to Sandy Johnson and Diane Estep, the Activity Coordinators and their team. Amazing group of folks to work with and they look after my Auntie. We planned a 100th birthday party for my Aunt and it was a blast thanks to Sandy, Diane and their team. I’m so happy this is my Aunt’s home.
