I was here for about 2 weeks; probably the worst 2 weeks of my life. Everything was second and third rate. The two people cooking and cleaning weren't always able to even speak English to communicate in a necessary way. The food was poor but I suppose was better than nothing. (Today was two hot dogs, barey cooked.) Dinner will be the same: overcooked stringy chicken with minute rice and leftover frozen vegetables with perhaps jello or ice cream. After being here I finally ordered food to be delivered - expensive but necessary. At 8am daily, the huge screen TV is turned on loudly, and the oatmeal and orange juice is served ("breakfast is being served") and that's it. That's all that is offered, which is sad. No one talks.. I don't know how long the other three people will be here - I don't know anything about them. I was put here by a county social worker after the house I lived in was condemned after being there for more than four years. That's another story. What a nightmare. I am supposed to be grateful for this place - but I am not. It's just hard to believe that this is what Montgomery County, Maryland is providing.
