I was there only for three weeks and I saw a live rat two nights in a row under my bed. And if they comment on my review saying we are sorry for the trouble call us at this number it's all for Show. I have a lot of negative feedback but I do not want to type a Long essay. But if you Care about your loved ones a shelter is better than this "Rehab facility".

This building is just aesthetically unpleasing. As soon as you walk in it is brown in color and has carpet. Why would a healthcare facility have carpet that can hold mold, stains, liquids and other things? The carpet smells exactly as it looks; like mold & mildew. They also have resident's walking around on the carpet with those footie socks so they probably are getting back to bed with whatever fungus was on the carpet. The staff was nice & the rehab gym was lively & it looked like the resident's were having a good time in the gym along with the staff which was a positive out of this facility. To be honest, I was looking for a place for my loved one to recover from being in the hospital for a few weeks but the aesthetics just don't do it for me. It wasn't pleasant, inviting or comfortable. Overall, the carpet really threw me off immediately as I stepped in. Ripping up the mildew carpet would make such a change in this place honestly. Seems like a simple fix.

My Dad has been at Layhill for a week doing rehab. The doctors and staff are outstanding. All the nurses are very nice and take good care of him. The Physical Therapist is an angel. Dad couldn't even stand up when he got here, now he's walking a little bit and getting better every day. Layhill has a great PT department and pleasant, competent staff. I highly recommend it.

My dad just went to this facility last Friday but so far the reason I picked it was because the staff all seemed happy the patients all seemed happy the place was clean and good repair and local I will leave another review as things move along but so far they've been taking good care of him even though he has his moments they call me for any issues or to inform me of any ongoing care so out of the three places I check this is the one I did choose.
