This rehabilitation center does not provide basic necessities such as hot water, soap, and paper towels in the patient’s room, despite numerous requests to staff. It took 3 weeks and direct contact with the Office Manager before anyone took action. After I submitted a written list of concerns, an electrician quickly repaired the flickering ceiling light, bathroom light, and leaking faucet. Unfortunately, communication went silent again after we left, the remaining issues were still ignored. Going onto 6 weeks now, this dialysis patient still living under unsanitary conditions. For a healthcare facility, this is unacceptable, especially those with serious medical conditions, deserve a clean, safe, and responsive care environment. To make matters worse, meals are usually served cold, including hot dogs and hamburgers. I DO NOT recommend this facility.

Someone I love began receiving services here this weekend and I am so impressed with the staff. The nurses, therapists, and everyone we’ve worked with has been helpful and compassionate. There is always someone available to help and answer questions. I am happy my loved one is receiving care from this amazing team!

Very concerning experience serious issues with care, communication, and basic patient dignity My mother was admitted to Complete Care at Springbrook for rehabilitation with the goal of regaining strength and mobility so she could safely return home. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning. From the time she arrived, she received little to no meaningful physical therapy to help her stand, walk, or rebuild strength. Instead, she spent long periods confined to bed without a clear rehabilitation plan, which completely defeats the purpose of a rehab admission. She also suffered significant pain related to a catheter for several days. Despite repeatedly reporting discomfort, no proper reassessment or intervention was done. Staff continued to say the catheter could not be removed because it came from the hospital, yet no one appeared to evaluate whether it was still medically necessary. A required urology follow up was delayed until family members personally intervened and scheduled the appointment ourselves. The appointment was completed immediately once the correct process was followed. Communication throughout the facility has been extremely poor. Staff provided conflicting information, voicemails are constantly full, and it is nearly impossible to reach anyone when you need answers. When you do ask questions, many staff members respond with noticeable attitude instead of professionalism or concern. Basic patient care and hygiene were also alarming. I personally witnessed a nurse spill urine while emptying my mother’s catheter bag and then cover her with the same wet sheets instead of immediately changing them. No patient should be left lying in urine soaked bedding. This shows a serious lack of dignity and proper care. Additionally, something as simple as wipes is consistently unavailable. When families ask for basic supplies, staff often act inconvenienced or irritated. Overall, this experience reflects major problems with care coordination, pain management, communication, and respect for patients. Families should not have to fight this hard just to ensure their loved one receives basic attention and humane treatment. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements so other families do not have the same experience. Everyones voicemail is ways full that alone is not a good sign

My mother came to the Springbrook rehabilitation home in July 2025 to receive the help she truly needed, just like every patient that is transferred their. Instead she received very poor and horrible service and was found in her Rm. by my sister hanging off the bed with her shirt off, and her pants half way down, and holding for dear life with her door closed. My mother said the nurse got mad because she had to.change her and lashed out in anger and pushed her on to the bed and close the door beside her and leaving my poor mother that has Parkinson illness to fight to not fall and hope someone else comes to her rescue. My sister was the first person to.find her and immediately called the nurses and took photos of the way my mother was being treated. The nurse that treated her stayed away from us and my up a story that my mother faught her and she left my mother to go get help. She lied because the look on her face told the truth. My sister and I had a meeting with.the administration and charge nurses about the service my mother truly needed, they stayed for.now on she would get that and a better clean room, and no large amounts of ants clawing all over her clothes and food. Once again I came to visit my mother in the morning to find her door closed and her hanging off her wheelchair and between the bed trying to hold on because she needed help and no one could hear her with the door closed once Again. I told the nurses that my mother isn't drinking enough water and they needed to check with the doctor to put an IV in to give her the H20 she needed. they never did it after two days and I had to complaint to the charge nurse Again. August 2025.. While visiting my mother I discovered that she was tucked into bed under the covers still and something was wrong just by looking at her face and eyes were different. I started to check her arms and then pulled back the covers on her legs after I felt something on her legs from under the covers. I.found three large swollen black bruises on her leg and immediately called the nurse and took a photo of it and sent it to my sister. The nurse stated he didn't know where did those bruises come from and the nurse never pass on any information in her report at shift change. He then called the charge nurse and she had no answers to this horrible situation and my sister and I have had enough and rescued my mother from there and told the charge nurse to call for ambulance to take her to a hospital at once. I was so disappointed and discussed from every thing that she had been going through at the hands of some of the worse nurses I have ever seen in a health care facility. There were a couple of nurses that really did there job and when my mother went to rehab for exercise the staff was very kind to her and she liked going there when her health was good. The doctors told us at Holy Cross hospital that my mother was extremely dehydrated and she has a infection that's been going on for to long and signs that it was treated at the Springbrook rehabilitation home. It's a big problem because it could be in her blood already. My mother was treated and transferred to Hebrew Home in Rockville, where she started to receive the very best treatment.. and started to recover but she ended up be sent back to the ER because of low blood pressure. Doctors stated that the infection she caught and wasn't treated was in her blood and caused all types of damage and sent her Parkinson to a stage that she couldn't come back from but they could do all that they can to make her comfortable. She passed away on August 12th 2025. After getting a clean bill of health from her kidney doctor back in early June 2025, I can truly wished we Never brought her to Springbrook rehab home on New Hampshire Ave in Silver Spring. The facility is old, and the roof leaks a lot and pours right through the roof in patient's rooms and the smell of urine is strong in parts of the facility. I don't recommend anyone sending there family here..Don't Thank you housekeeping staff. Shame On Lazy Nurses there just to get a Pay Check
