Our mom has been a resident at Quail Summit in the Memory care for 10 months now. We are very pleased with her care and the respect and dignity in which she is cared for.We visit often and are able to see how happy mom is. The staff understand dementia and have a very good understanding of mom's needs both physically and emotionally and how to work with residents of varying cognitive stages. Mom has been able to thrive there! Yes, memory care is challenging and also very rewarding ! She is treated as family and the staff have have been trained to support their cognitive needs in a very respectful and caring way. We finally sleep well at night as we know mom is in "good hands". In addition, The nursing staff, head health director all the way up to the director are all very visible , helpful and attentive to the every day care of all residents there. They ALL take part in the positive, supportive atmosphere. The memory care residents are welcomed into many aspects of the Quail Summit community for events, concerts, etc. in which they are able to participate. It feels like family, and runs as a family atmosphere.<br>We recommend Quail Memory Care to many caregivers we come in contact with, mostly because of the peace of mind we feel with mom living there. They are a wonderful facility !!
