Providence Irvington Village Assisted Living

Providence Irvington Village is an assisted living community in Northeast Portland, Oregon, offering private one-bedroom and studio apartments with personal bathrooms and kitchenettes. The community accepts Medicaid and welcomes residents of all backgrounds and gender identities.

The community provides personalized, resident-centered care developed collaboratively between staff and residents. Services include in-room emergency call systems, dining with diverse and culturally specific food options, and common areas with amenities such as pool tables, puzzle tables, computers, and televisions. An on-site interdisciplinary care team—including a primary care doctor, nurse, social worker, and therapists—supports residents' health and independence.

Founded in 2002 by Irvington Covenant Church Pastor Henry Greenidge to serve older adults in Northeast Portland with affordable housing, Irvington Village became part of Providence ElderPlace in 2009. The community is a nationally recognized PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) location. Residents who qualify may join ElderPlace PACE, which bundles medical care, senior services, and social activities into one comprehensive support system for adults 55 and older who need assistance with activities of daily living; PACE coverage includes no co-payments or deductibles.
