One of the aides spilt boiling hot coffee on my dying fathers lap. Tried to pretend his outside facility nurse we hired did it. They have fake phones in the room to meet state codes through deception. my dad was at this facility over a year and i never saw them use that ice cream parlor with the fake desserts in the case. Everything here is for show. My mother caught caretakers sleeping on the job in a unused room once. this place is a for profit joke run by a tiny, conceded little man who cares not one bit about your loved one. believe me or see for yourself. its obvious if you visit your loved one everyday and sit with them an hour. The staff will start treating you coldly cause they dont want you there. Cause deep down they know how it is there. You noticing is a problem for them.

Excellent facility, my mom enjoyed the other residents and activities. It was always very clean, and it’s a reasonable size for seniors. They did have trouble finding chefs for their meals, but it was right after COVID so perhaps the staff shortages were widespread. Overall, I’d recommend.

A couple reasons to choose another assisted living facility , due to several ongoing operational and quality-of-care concerns. There appear to be consistent issues with laundry management and overall housekeeping, which raises concerns about cleanliness and organization. In addition, leadership visibility and engagement—particularly from the Director of Nursing (DON)—seems limited, with minimal presence on the floor to oversee care and address concerns in real time. Meal service is also a concern, as food quality and variety appear to be below expected standards for resident nutrition and satisfaction. Also seem to be writing their own good reviews a nurse with the same name is writing about her own family member so as one would think she got better care then everyone else.<br><br>Taken together, these factors suggest gaps in daily oversight, environmental maintenance, and resident experience that make it difficult to confidently recommend this facility.

I would not recommend this senior living facility based on my experience. The level of unprofessionalism, particularly from the scheduler, was unacceptable. Important tasks were repeatedly not completed, communication was poor, and there was a lack of accountability.<br><br>When you are trusting a facility with seniors, organization and follow-through should be the bare minimum. Sadly, this place did not meet that standard.

Prairie Bluffs Senior Living stepped in during an incredibly difficult and urgent time for our family, and I cannot say enough about the care, compassion, and professionalism they provided. They welcomed my mom swiftly when we needed help most and managed her care with remarkable attention to detail, urgency, and constant communication. From day one, we felt informed, supported, and confident she was in the right place.<br><br>The facility itself is beautiful—clean, warm, inviting, and thoughtfully maintained. My mom felt comfortable and safe there, and so did we as her family. While she was still able to eat, she genuinely enjoyed the dining experience and appreciated the additional menu options available. Although she wasn’t able to participate in many activities, she did attend one seminar and truly enjoyed it, which meant a great deal to us.<br><br>Her room was adorable, clean, cozy, and welcoming—everything you would hope for during such a vulnerable time. Our family was very present throughout her stay, and at no point did we ever see or experience anything concerning. The level of care and respect shown to my mom was consistent and heartfelt.<br><br>I am deeply grateful that Prairie Bluffs Senior Living was there for us during my mom’s final six weeks of life. Knowing she was comfortable, cared for, and safe gave our family an immeasurable sense of peace during an otherwise heartbreaking time. We will always be thankful for the kindness and compassion shown to our mom and our family.
