I had the privilege of working alongside Anthony as part of a collaborative team supporting a family navigating profound grief and overwhelm. What stood out immediately was his unwavering commitment to the well-being of both his client and the spouse — not just medically, but emotionally.
In this particular situation, grief had become so consuming that it was unintentionally interfering with the level of care his client urgently needed. Rather than pushing harder or staying in a narrow lane, Anthony did something that speaks volumes about his character and leadership — he thought outside the box. He recognized that emotional support was a missing piece and reached out to bring me in.
That referral alone tells you who he is.
Anthony understands that true care is not just about logistics or physical needs. It’s about the whole human experience. He leads with compassion, clarity, and integrity. He is willing to collaborate, to expand the team when necessary, and to prioritize what will genuinely create stability and safety for the family.
If you are looking for someone who truly cares, who sees the bigger picture, and who will advocate for what is best for his clients — Anthony is that person.

I’m grateful to work alongside a professional who understands that healing happens best when we approach it together.

– Cindi DuMond, RN
Grief & Emotional Regulation Consultant
Certified Adult Chair® Master Coach
Founder: Don't Despair Coaching, llc

I cannot say enough good things about Anthony Ford and Plan Life Care. Anthony goes above and beyond in providing live-in care with professionalism, compassion, and genuine dedication. He treats his clients with dignity and respect, while also giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in excellent hands.

We interviewed several home health agencies as we looked for compassionate assistance with two elderly family members facing the challenges of dementia. In an attempt to allow them to remain living as independently as possible down the road from us, we wanted to address concerns with assistance with bathing and light housekeeping to include swiftering floors, a weekly wipedown of the bathroom and dusting of the furniture. This was explained thoroughly at the initial onsite meeting and we were assured that they were the PERFECT company to meet our family's needs. We had high hopes after that meeting with Anthony, the owner, hearing of his similar journey with his own mother. Day one with the first caregiver went well, he was an older veteran which resonated with my father in law, and was very considerate towards my mother in law. At the end of the second visit, this gentleman decided he had worked enough - two hours of a three hour shift and told my mother in law he would clock out at the three hour mark from his house, charging us for 3 hours while only onsite for 2, integrity matters and we could no longer trust him to be onsite. We went through two others over the next week, neither of which communicated that my father in law declined assistance with showering, and allowing my mother in law to help him. While his sense of independence and pride is not unusual, a simple call to us from the caregiver would have resolved the issue or at least made us aware there was a problem. Instead we had to hear it after their departure from my MIL. But not only was there no communication with me, neither of these individuals called their office to report that they were not able to assist, taking the easy way out and allowing an 81 year old to do what they had been contracted to do. One HHA watched as my mother in law assisted with the shower, the final person sent out couldn't even be bothered with that level of effort, he left the two of them alone in the primary suite trying to get cleaned up while he sat on the sofa playing on his phone and watching television, we later verified that is where he spent most of his time when we played back the living room camera footage.
While I understand better than most, interactions with dementia patients can be challenging, we were assured that the staff members being dispatched were all trained in this type of care and were excellent communicators. We found that not to be the case.
I am giving an additional star for the office manager, she was remarkable, understanding and apologetic, but that was the extent of our positive interaction with this company beyond the intial intake.

I highly recommend Anthony Ford from Plan Life Care. It’s never an easy process finding the right care for our elderly loved ones, but Anthony is always right there with wisdom and compassion to help families obtain the right care plan for them. He is kind, trustworthy, and I would absolutely entrust my loved ones to his care.
