Both of my grandmothers have stayed at Pisgah Manor for short‑term rehab, and each visit left a strong impression on our family. The staff treated them with real care and steady communication. Therapy made a noticeable difference in their strength and confidence. The building stayed clean and the atmosphere felt calm throughout their stays. I’m grateful for the way Pisgah Manor supported both of them and I highly recommend this facility.

I have been consistently impressed with the level of care and compassion provided at this facility. The staff are attentive, respectful, and genuinely committed to the well-being of the residents. I have had multiple family and family friends stay at Pisgah Manor for rehab services over the years and my Grandparents stayed there for longterm care for years. Each time they received compassionate and excellent care. My family and I are forever grateful for the care my Grandparents received for their last season of life. The facility is always clean and the staff are friendly and attentive.

To whom it may concern, My name is Jill Richardson and I had a client at Pisgah Manor. There was an influenza outbreak and the units were quarantined off. I told my clients POA that I would be unable to come for the next week because I was caring for another one of my clients who is actively passing away. It had been over a week since I seen my client and I went in that evening has something told me something's wrong and so I went to see about my client devastatingly I found him in a critical State he was on the floor with his head stuck under the bed kicking around in an old dirty t-shirt and a dirty diaper which left fecal matter running up his backside all the way up to his hair it was dried and impact no telling how long that's been there or like that, I immediately ran across the building to try to find somebody to help there is absolutely no one no staff member whatsoever on the (A) hall which was quarantined off. When I found a nurse on the other side of the facility she said she would go find somebody to help her and be right there. I went back to see about my client and told him help is on the way two of the nurses who came in came flying in with a Hoyer lift slam the door in my face spent about 20 seconds my client just long enough to pick him up off the floor and put them into the bed. Then they proceeded to leave I asked the one nurse is he hurt did you do a body chart on him she said he was fine and if I had a problem with it to take it up with the director of nursing. So I went up to the director of nursing was gone for the day this being a Friday she would not be back until Monday but I could speak to the evening supervisor I said that would be fine. While waiting for the nursing supervisor I called Liberty hospice which my client was under hospice care and ask the nurse if she could come out and check him for injuries he had a huge contusion on one of his eyes and another one on one of his arms I knew he must have hit his head really hard probably had a brain bleed. When I met the young girl who was the evening supervisor she first addressed me by saying what do you want I proceeded stating to her about my clients in situation I wanted to make sure that he was not hurt I said she was there in the room and they checked him and he was fine she was the other nurse that spent 20 seconds with him. Meanwhile she stated to me that Liberty hospice is to do all of his personal care and I know that wasn't correct because they're not in house he's paying them in house to provide proper care nutrition and compassion you would think. Most all of their workers are traveling nurses and traveling CNAs there's no continuity of care these people aren't around long enough to make human connections with the elderly clients they just do what they absolutely have to do . When the hospice nurse arrived of course she said it was the facility responsibility to keep up with my clients Personal Care food and nutrition and etcetera the only thing she did was listen to his heart and say that she needs to go get the nurse so she comes back with a young girl that is the evening supervisor so I proceeded to ask her what are the facilities policies and procedures for when a client Falls do you know you have to fill out a body chart and you didn't have time to do that within 20 seconds of being in the room much less making sure he was okay so I asked some more pointed questions in regards to the facilities policy and procedures and with that she told me that I need to leave the premises or she was going to call the police and so she did and I called the police right back on them did both officers show up and my clients mouth is so dry I had to put Vaseline on his lips so he could create a vacuum around the straw in order to get a drink he drank it dry he was so thirsty the police showed up I asked them both what would you do if this was your father and they both hung their heads down and just shook their heads. The young girl that was the night supervisor told me I've been trespassed from the property. I'll be making another post
