I had a tour at 8am the other day at this facility and upon entry you are hit with a STRONG scent of urine. While the staff was very pleasant the smell was not. On the first floor we were shown the activity room and an empty room where the tub was dirty along with the stained shower curtains. The carpet that lined the hall floor were heavily soiled and reeked the smell of urine, and felt so nasty to walk on. I asked about the strong smell of urine and was told that it was because that room was right next to the room where they held soiled bed linen (I hope nobody is given that room). We were shown the common bathroom/shower room which appears to need a lot of maintenance, floor and wall tiles chipping, grout black, stained walls and ceilings. We headed to the 2nd floor where it also smelled strongly of urine and was introduced to the director of housekeeping who was leaning on a cleaning cart on FaceTime. Our tour guide then took us to the activity room/physical therapy which looked nice. Our last stop before exiting was the dining area which had trash so full it was spilling over the trash can. This facility has a B sanitation grade and I can definitely see why. While the staff seems pleasant this facility has lots of work that needs to be done and in my opinion is not fit to house anyones family member.
