I had to put negative reviews to finally get paid for me reflexology services but after finally getting paid I brought it up to 3 stars.

My loved one was there for only 3 months. She had Medicaid & we paid also & I have requested my refund. No response !! This place is understaffed! Memory Care workers on laptop, braiding each other hair, no bath for week. they also do not watch residents leave them sitting in the eating area. Also bed bugs. Do not put your loved ones here.

Poor service, staff wear no Name Tags, Lazy!!! Things get gone and no one knows anything. Seems staff is underpaid and thats the service they give. Also not enough staff, on some days you dont see them. Housekeeping needs a lot of improofment. Its sad when seniors on the memory care floor beeing treated in a way. Well they dont remember if they had a shower or who took their clothes. Staff dont care. People worked all their life to end up in a dump.....

I would not recommend Holden Heights as facility has major problems. Exits do not have ADA accessibility, electrical issues with smoldering outlet, said they fixed it but only cleaned plate cover-screws had not been removed! Staff barely there on weekends-usually hanging with family and friends and children behind nurse's desk! Communication nonexistent between Director and staff and/or family. They do not reply to emails and/or emails. Sanitation aka fruit punch left out in patient room til it grows mold on top of it! Housekeeping only does center section of patient rooms--rest is not touched and/or swept under closet door. Laundry and business office all have their issues with more problems. Everytime I thought it couldn't get worse, it did. You will regret sending family member to Holden Heights.

My mother-in-law was there for short-term, at her end-of-life. The facility is clean and the people were very nice. She was at Abbotswood for several years, each year needing additional services. Her bills were $6,000 per month and we feared she would run out of money. Holden Heights (a different name at that time) was a great option and the cost was far lower. We were able to decorate her room and visit daily. The staff kept in contact with us if anything was a concern.
