My mother just was admitted so today was my first day visiting this place, but from what I saw, I’m pleased. As long as services stay the way they are. I won’t be revising this review. The PT, OT and the nurse that I met today were all very pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. The kitchen staff that bought my mother her food was also very friendly. They all seem to have her best interest at heart and interact with her which I really appreciate it because so many times people in the medical field make the patient feel unseen. PT was Pauline, OT was Megan. Her nurse today was Zoe. I don’t know the kitchen staff’s name but he was awesome. Wish I knew his name so I could shout him out as well.

I had a nurse there file a false police report saying that I choked her and I was arrested for that. I was charged with disorderly conduct. Before my court date the prosecutor decided to drop the charges because there was no merit to it. The problem is now they won't take me back and no facility wants a tracheotomy. Now I am going to have to file charges against Pendleton and the nurse to see what I can do about this.

My father was at Pendleton for 44 days trying to regain the ability to walk again after a fall. While there were a few workers who went above and beyond, we were not thrilled with the care. After over a month, he did not improve at all. They are terribly understaffed. Patients push their button for assistance and the alarms beep for hours, all day and night. Nobody would come in. My dad was supposed to get physical therapy daily, but if a new patient came in or someone was busy, he wouldn't get it. There was no consistency, which is what he needed. Outside of the half hour of physical therapy, they just had him sitting in a wheelchair in his room all day, everyday until bedtime. On holidays the regular staff was off and an outside company came in. They did nothing. Wouldn't help with anything and many were just rude. There's one doctor there that comes in for quick visits. Although notes say he was in to see my father on several occasions, my father saw him one time the day he arrived, for all of five minutes and never saw him again. He couldn't be bothered with speaking with patient's. Sadly, I would not recommend sending a loved one here for rehabilitation services.

My sister has been there for 2 weeks, regaining her strength after a lengthy hospital visit. Her care is top notch. Her nurses and therapists are all kind hearted people. They give 1000 percent and they don’t let the patients go until they’re sure that they’re healthy and strong enough to live on their own.

I stopped into see my Aunt this morning at the Mystic Pendleton Rehabilitation Facility on Maritime Drive. They have a safe & secure check in system to keep the Patient safe from walking out and it also keeps Pendleton themselves safe from any problems that arise from the visitors. My aunt is on the second floor. Her room is very clean as is the whole place hallway, dining area, etc. The staff that I came across and the orderly in nurses, my aunt say are very good and kind and patient as it’s going to take my aunt a little bit to recover. My mom was in the Apple rehab 10 years ago in Westerly, Rhode Island, where I am from and I was very unhappy with the care. My mother received the cleanliness of the rooms besides some of the orderly and nurses who didn’t have too many patients for my mom who is suffering from a rear bone disease called coral basil, degenerative disease. This year paragraph is why I gave Pendleton rehabilitation in Mystic a 5 star rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
