These facilities are not worth the money spent they don't care for the residents like a assisted living they don't interact with them you have to stay on top of them to ensure your loved ones gets the proper care. I have to clean up everytime I visit and ensure that my family is being cared for if I don't supply them with what she needs she won't get it. But they quick to take that withdrawal from your account

The Victory Center of Roseland is like a prison and not an assistant living facility. The food is lousy and not good for the residents. Most have little to no teeth, have high blood pressure, and diabetes. And we are fed burnt food or under cooked food. We are fed two and three starchy foods a meal. The meal are not served in a timely manner. They also serve this 4oz. Cup of ijuice with each meal and the food is taasteless. There is no seasoning of any kind. This leaves us to either add sugar or salt to everything. There are residents that came in border line diabetic and is now taking insulin every day. The snacks are either cookies, donuts or cream pie. Very little fresh fruit is being offered. We have complained for months but nothing have been said by the director to improve this problem. If that's not enough, the portions are preschool size. There is no getting full on this food. Since the lockdown we now are eating whatever they want to cook. The menu is not being followed and we throw out tons of food daily. We would like to speak with the nutritionist to hear why we are being fed food that is not healthy for us. I wouldn't send my relatives or have a friend to move in here. There is not enough L.E.A.s to help the residents that need it. Apartments aren't cleaned daily, the laundry rooms on two floor is used for staff and one with two washer and dryers is for over one hundred residents to use. The generator is old and outdated and make this horrible noise 24 - 7. Alot of the Apartments are having problems with water leaking all over the carpets. We have tried to talk with the director but we get the same response. NOTHING. They brought in a new health insurance that claimed not to be an HMO but that was a lie, they said they would touch our present insurance that theirs is just added benefits. That was a lie. They said that the program that they was offering have no copays, that was a lie. There is one resident that have over thirteen hundred dollars of copays since being trick to join their insurance. We want out of the insurance but you jump through hoops to get it done. The place is not an assistant living facility, its an assistant dying place. They have also taken a few residents stimulus monies but returned it after the residents reported it. We also have a resident that have attacked three women and he is still here. He give all the female residents the creeps. Someone need to come out and talk to the residents and not the staff. We are not demented. Most of us can comprehend what is being said and done. We need help.
