Old Brownlee Community Care Center is a beautiful venue, but their services are unacceptable. They have violated state and federal laws with regards to residents and their standard and continuity of care. The write prescriptions in patients names and never give them to them, which blocks their ability to get refills from their actual doctors. They advise one process, revoke it, and state another. The experience I had was horrible, after having a total hip replacement and did not have any medication to go home with to manage the pain. Stay away from this place when looking for a skilled nursing facility.

Only one rude night time nurse. Complaint filed. But absolutely everyone else has been an absolute delight. Very caring, passionate about their patients. Give everything they can. Everyone here has been so wonderful helping me while I stay and sit with my daddy everyday till he is done with spinal rehab. I see 2 morning doves all day and warms my heart to think my momma is giving her presence to my daddy

We only been there one time but as far as we could tell the facility was clean. Was there in for an hour 2 aids & 1 nurse came in and took her of her,. However she told as a physical therapist called her a cry baby because she really sick and can't walk .she said they leave her in a wheelchair for hours and they left her sitting straight up in bed 1 day for 4 hours. But she likes the staff.

This facility is beautiful and state of the art!. That’s all that’s great about this facility. No one knew that my mom had a shoulder replacement when we got there and had no idea how to handle her. She hadn’t needed a pain pill in days until she got there. They wanted her to use a bed pan until the therapist could evaluate her the next day. That would had been about 20 hrs after she got there. She’s 86 and we had been at an acute care center that had her up and walking. Made absolutely no sense to me. She couldn’t even have her own wheelchair until she had been evaluated. We waited 28 minutes for someone to answer the bell we had rang 3 times and when I went into the hallway they told me they were busy picking up dinner trays. Hardest thing I ever did was leave my mother that first night. I moved her immediately! Staff is incompetent and very unprofessional!

Yes, it's a nice looking facility but the service is the worst. I went to visit a family member and I she needed help being pulled up in the bed. I rung the bell and no one came for over 45 minutes, so I stepped in the hall and bells were going off left and right but no one was answering the bells. I saw someone walking in the hall and she apologized and she was sorry and she would be there in 10 minutes, she was helping another patient. Heaven forbit had she needed something serious. There is no administration on property on weekends and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone. There is on therapy given on the weekends and administration does not come in on holidays. I was constantly given the run the around when I called to inquire. Rhonda was out of the office all of the week and Chasity was in a meeting or out to lunch. No one knows anything when you ask them a question. Please think twice before leaving your love one at this facility.
