The staff at OMCI are generally dedicated, and the therapy programs offered are very effective. Activities are available daily, and residents are encouraged to participate. Communication is consistent to the families, and overall the facility provides a safe and supportive environment. Shoutout to the admissions coordinator she is very dedicated and goes above and beyond for those who need her.

First impressions were all over the spectrum when searching for a nursing home for dad. Long story short our top pick denied dad based on his dementia and suggested OMC. OMC first impression was not great. We were greeted nicely at the front door but as soon as we entered, the lobby was full of residents and the 'nursing home smell' was quite noticeable. However, this is where the 'bad' ends. We would be hard pressed to find a better facility than OMC They are not there to 'put on a show'. They are there day in and day out caring for those who have lost themselves- their minds, bladder and bowel control, etc. This is home to the residents and the staff makes it feel like home. I have witnessed many HUGS and many acts of KINDNESS well beyond just taking care of residents. OMC is very well managed and hands on, giving it a personal feel and not a corporate feel. The communication of management with our family is excellent. Dad is relaxed, smiles often and gets lots of attention from the staff. I am glad dad was turned down from 'our pick' and thankful they suggested OMC. Steve Swaringim

From the moment you walk through the doors, there’s an undeniable feeling that this place is special. It doesn’t feel like an institution. It feels like family. The warmth, care, and genuine compassion from every member of the staff, including the administration, is something you don’t see often. Everyone, from top to bottom, is truly “all hands on deck,” not just managing care, but actively participating in the lives of the residents. The team is incredibly tender and attentive. You can tell they know and love the people they care for… not just by name, but by personality, routine, and the little things that bring comfort and joy to each individual. There’s a deep sense of dignity and respect in everything they do. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with patience, kindness, and heartfelt connection, this is it. I couldn’t be more grateful for my time and experience with Oklahoma Memory.

When it became evident that my mother would need more care than I could provide, the hospital social worker suggested OMC. My previous experience with care facilities was not positive but I went for a tour. The director Leann Manning was briefly detained so she had another staffer meet me at the door and begin my tour. Everything seemed so quiet and welcoming. I found myself relaxing and feeling much more positive about this very important life decision I was about to make for my mother. Then I met with Leann and I knew I had found the place that was small and much like a family that would be her new home. Mama lived there for 6 months until she passed peacefully and I still visit there frequently because these kind people have become family to me.

My mother loves the staff at OKMC, and they love her. She needs 24/7 care and this is a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment that is structured around the residents. I’m always notified of health emergencies and any minor issues my mother has. The facility has an easy to use building layout with a peaceful outdoor space. Michael and all the staff have a hard job to do in the memory care profession and I’m glad we were led to this facility by a great friend.
