Despite the sadness of losing my dear brother recently, I felt it was important to thank the people that made it possible for myself and family to get through this difficult time. Nurse Next Door stepped in and brought in their amazing caregivers to be with my brother and take care of him. He loved them all and spoke of them affectionately every time we were together. Jennifer and Cassandra especially were there to help every day or night if needed. I owe them a deep debt and will never forget them.

Extraordinary care from aides who are truly caring, patient and loving to my family member with aging issues and autism. They stay with him during the day, assist with personal care, meals and best of all find continuous ways to entertain him while working on his memory/other skills. Even the 3rd party therapy company within the ALF have commented to me on the aides exemplary behavior and care with my brother. Bret, the COO is unbelievable - available, attentive, caring and above all simply there for me. That is something only those who have family members needing care can really understand!

I wouldnt recommend working here to a dog. If this is your last resort for a job do yourself a favor and continue applying elsewhere. I have never been talked to by management like this. I was fired while my son was in the hospital before i even took a shift and i inquired about my orientation pay and this was the owners response " Again, when you can call, we can discuss it. You know what...never mind...TBH, you abandoned the job and didn't work a single shift anc NEVER called back for a simple conversation, but because we SAID we pay for training (which is all you ever did at NND), now you're demanding it? & Listen, don't call or text me or anyone else on this team. I'll pay you for your training this upcoming check. Happy Holidays." Then after we parted ways 4 hours later he proceeded to text me again and say " 5 hrs of pay were included for your training time even though you never actually worked for us. Thanks, because of you we are changing that policy. Being generous isn't reasonable in this industry. From now on, training will only be paid after you've worked your first shift" after telling me not to reach out to anyone in his team about pay. I wasn't rude or nasty at any point. I was extremely disrespected. Very unprofessional

On Saturday afternoon we had an immediate need for overnight care assistance to help my sister with our elderly mom on hospice. From the answering staff to Brett, and even the follow up call to my online contact submission, I received friendly, productive communication.<br><br>Brett was able to find coverage for the night. At the same time, the agency that took care of our father a few years ago also came through with overnight coverage, starting an hour earlier. So we chose the earlier availability, and the company we were familiar with. However, we would have hired Nurse Next Door, had they been unable to fill the need. NND also offers Docu-Sign to accomplish the paperwork efficiently, as I am out of state, and could take that task off my sister's shoulders.
