I recently moved a parent into Garden House; the memory care, after a negative experience at another senior living facility & after many months of looking for a non-private-equity-owned senior living company. Finding Merrill Gardens (Novelle is a part of this brand) was a real blessing. Even their sales process was more focused on the person being served and less focused on the sale. (Alarming to type out...but when shareholder profit in the vast majority of senior living facilities are more important to mgmt than overall care of an aging person, it needs to be said!) I hope Merrill Gardens never sells to PE!<br><br>It was also a relief to check the publicly found state licensing reports for Novelle & not see a list of big red flags!<br><br>The move-in & integration was very positive. Overall systems for how memory care is conducted & the Montessori learning initiatives are the best I've found thus far. I'm looking forward to my parent thriving in a more competent environment overall & collaborating with the team in a meaningful solutions-oriented manner when minor problems arise. Brayan was great to work with & look forward to getting to know the rest of management, too.

Nouvelle is an exceptional community. The Garden House offers spacious rooms, well planned activities and very kind staff. Brayen Antunes, the Community Relations Director, is a knowledgeable, warm and attentive guide that made an unfamiliar process feel very comfortable. We are grateful to have worked with him and for all he did to assist us.

If I could give Novelle Senior Living more than five stars, I would.<br><br>Moving my mom to Novelle was one of the best decisions our family has ever made. The difference has been nothing short of remarkable. It truly feels like we moved her from a place where she was just waiting to die to a place where she is living again.<br><br>Since moving into memory care at Novelle, she has become more engaged, more active, and genuinely happier. She smiles more, participates in activities, and is surrounded by people who know her, care about her, and treat her with the dignity and respect every person deserves.<br><br>The staff is extraordinary. They are warm, attentive, compassionate, and incredibly patient. You can tell this isn’t just a job to them. They genuinely care about the residents and it shows in everything they do, from the way they greet families to the thoughtful care they provide every day.<br><br>The community itself is beautiful, clean, spacious, and full of life. There is always something happening, activities to enjoy, and a feeling of warmth that you notice the moment you walk through the doors. The food is fresh, healthy, and surprisingly delicious, which has been another wonderful surprise.<br><br>As a daughter, there is no greater gift than knowing your loved one is safe, cared for, respected, and enjoying life. The peace of mind Novelle has given our family is priceless.<br><br>To every member of the Novelle team, thank you. You have made an incredible difference in my mom’s life, and in ours. I am deeply grateful.

Like everyone in this situation, finding the right place for your parent as they age is one of the biggest challenges. My mom had been living in an ADU on our property for the past four years, but she reached the point where she needed additional care and a place where she would feel safe, secure, and supported.<br><br>After visiting almost every senior living community in the San Jose, Los Gatos, and Saratoga area, we finally came across Novelle. So far, our experience has been extremely positive.<br><br>On our very first visit, we met Brayan, and he was one of the biggest reasons we chose Novelle. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely cared about helping us through the process. He reflected exactly what we found throughout the entire community—beautiful surroundings, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a bright, cheerful environment.<br><br>We also had the opportunity to meet several residents, all of whom spoke very highly of their experience. In fact, a couple of them had transferred from facilities in Los Gatos because they felt Novelle was a much better fit.<br><br>It's still early, but so far, we couldn't be happier with our decision. I'll be happy to provide an update after Mom has been there a little longer.

Hello- This is to the managers, all the staff, care workers, and nurses<br>I just want to say how nice and kind and caring the management, staff, and caretakers are.<br><br>They are always asking how you are and if you need anything. If you need any help whatsoever they are there instantly. Immediately if something happens they are right there to call emergency and to make sure you get the proper care. You can ask them at anytime and they are ready to assist you if you have problems.<br><br>The food is very good and everything is kept very clean.<br>The staff that works here are very caring and attentive. And if anything is wrong you can tell Joyce or Will and they will be right on it. They make sure that everything is running smoothly.<br><br>I love the rooms with the washer/dryer - very convenient. They also have a newsletter, schedule of activities, and schedule of menu at the front desk daily. to inform residents of activities.<br><br>Plus they have a live person for exercising which is great.<br><br>I have looked into other facilties and by far this is an excellent facility and one of the best,<br><br>I highly recommend Novelle to your loved ones.
