I had an outstanding experience at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center’s Emergency Department. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with genuine compassion and care. I was called back for vitals within about two minutes, and although I briefly returned to the waiting area, I was placed in a room in roughly 20 minutes. I know ER visits don’t always move this quickly, but in my case, the efficiency was remarkable. I was in and out within two hours, which is incredible compared to past experiences I’ve had elsewhere. What truly stood out to me was the kindness of every single staff member I encountered. Each person took a moment to connect with me beyond just my medical needs—whether through a kind comment, a compliment, or a simple personal question. It made the entire experience feel intentional and human. I didn’t feel like just another number; I felt genuinely cared for. The provider, along with the entire team, was extremely gentle, attentive, and reassuring throughout my visit. They also helped move things along quickly in getting me scheduled for surgery, which made a huge difference. I’m incredibly grateful for the level of care I received.

I had to deliver my sweet girl here due to a CPAM. The amount of care, kindness, and empathy we received made our stay exceptional! Thankfully our little girl was asymptomatic and we did not need the NICU. Everyone I talked to was kind, considerate, and informative. We had amazing care and an overall wonderful experience!

My daughter Hayven had to come in and spend 24 hours for her EEG on the pediatric unit. Let me just tell you the eeg tech’s, nurses, cna’s, doctors EVERYONE was so kind and sweet to my girl! I was highly impressed. I have never seen a hospital that cared so much. Keeping a child in a room for 24 hours is not easy, but they brought her toys, and coloring books and her eeg tech’s had a dance party with her to get her happy to finish one of her tests, and went and got her some of her favorite chips for her to snack on! Literally everyone made the experience a great one for us and it truly means the world to us! We appreciate this hospital and the staff! Thank you for everything that you do!🤍🤍

I had a major heart attack in Jan and was sent to Presbyterian hospital and I am so thankful that I was sent there. The 5th floor Cardiac ICU nurses, and the Cardiac Unit on the 6th floor, PA’s and surgeons were phenomenal! They all made the traumatic experience that I had easier by their kindness and concern. I asked them if they were angels. Great hospital and staff! Love them and so thankful for everyone of them!

Starting with the front desk in ER. They did not have me wait past the emergency EKG bc of severe chest pains. The ER staff was very helpful and nice about it as well. When I got up to a room right away the staff was fantastic. I hadn't eaten in 3 days and was told the kitchen is open late and they had 3 things available, so I got to eat. The whole staff for my 6 days have given extremely good care. I hate to pick out 1 from everyone that was helpful, but I have to say the nurse Erin went above and way beyond. Not only did she do extra things having to go out of her way to help, but she gave off an extreme feeling of knowing she cares about you. I know it's her career description to be helpful, even more so you can tell it's her character , I have to say when she leaves the room you can feel the genuineness that she brought with her. I will say again the whole staff from the lady's that cleaned, food delivery, Dr, CNAs, respiratory, and nursing. Overall I would recommend Presbyterian to anyone that needs a hospital.
