About Northridge Rehabilitation and Care Center

Northridge Rehabilitation and Care Center is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in North Ridgeville, Ohio, with a licensed capacity of 96 residents.

Family experiences at Northridge divide sharply. Five-star reviewers consistently praise the clinical team, therapy department, and administrative staff for attentive rehabilitation care and individualized attention. One family noted their mother regained mobility after a fall and became more engaged through the facility's activities program. Those same reviewers highlight good food, warm staff manner, and strong communication from management. However, one-star reviews raise serious concerns: multiple families report instances of staff disrespect toward residents and visitors, inadequate staffing levels, delayed medical responses, and unexplained patient discharges with minimal notice. Several reviews contain allegations of negligence and improper medication management, though these accounts vary in specificity and context.

Northridge holds a 3.3 out of 5 Google rating across 42 reviews. The facility appears to deliver strong rehabilitative outcomes and clinical coordination for some patients, particularly those admitted for short-term recovery. Prospective residents and families should weigh the positive accounts of therapy and management against the persistent complaints about staffing consistency and care quality on certain shifts.

The Northridge is horrible!! They don't take care of the residents there properly. They never answer the phones in the evening once all the office staff leaves and receptionist leaves. They don't return calls or emails even when messages are left.

The place is substandard, dirty, and not appropriate. My daughter is there now. I am going to call the ombudsman and the County Health Department.
