We were met by friendly and helpful staff upon arriving from the hospital with our family member. The PT Dept came to do an evaluation right away, we look forward to the upcoming days to see improvement with our family member’s physical being.

I know like all other staff is short. I know a lot to take care of for the elderly. I know they have a bakery there for the people staying there. Looks like some updates coming to spruce the place up. Definitely needed.

Pt and OT And transporters are amazing always happy and upbeat. Today there was a tea party and it was especially nice. I was able to take my mom outside and enjoy other company. The ladies that ran it were amazing. April who is a new Aide on the floor is super helpful and always upbeat. It would be nice if there were two people to help the patients because April is always Stretched thin. Nighttime staff, specifically Ariel, is a godsend. She is so kind and patient. She works like a dog. She helps my mother keep her dignity. She should be commended. My mother often comments on Linda, a nighttime nurse who is especially kind to her. I just wish it didn’t take 45 minutes for somebody to ring the bell to go to the bathroom. Why can’t nurses, LPNs and RN’s alike help people to the bathroom? Why is it left only to the aides? If somebody has to go to the bathroom, it is very difficult to hold it 45 minutes, especially when you’re 90 years old. Thank you for all your hard work. And a shout out to Katy in the bakery. She is so kind and very patient.

After 11 days in the hospital with multiple breaks in my tibia and a shattered fibula, I came to North Westchester Restorative Rehab—and I’m so glad I did. The staff here are wonderful, from the doctors and nurses to the CNAs and the cleaning staff. A special thank you to Thea and Rosa for always being so kind and helpful. The rehab therapists are fantastic and really worked with me to keep my left leg moving so I didn’t lose strength. Their teamwork and encouragement made a big difference in my recovery. And I have to mention the bakery—the girls make fresh baked goods every day and are always so sweet! If I ever make the questionable decision to break anything else in this body again, this will definitely be the place I come back to.

My mom's health improved while being here. She gained weight and her skin and hair shines. Staff is always kind and accommodating. Visiting the facility is always nice to stop by their free cafe, to have an outdoor space and a spacious clean common room that can accommodate groups of family visiting. I am grateful for this place and can rest at night knowing she is being properly and kindly cared for.
