We toured this community for my two aunts that live in the area, I am from out of state and feel like this community will be able to care for our aunts. Kelsie gave an amazing tour, the staff that we met were so nice and made us feel reassured. The community is beautiful and clean.

I toured this home the first week of August. My 84-year-old dad is in rehab in Rye, and I wanted to learn more about the Enhanced License and hospice care, as my dad seems to be heading in that direction.<br>Unfortunately, Anelta, the sales representative, wasn't very informative. She spent much of the tour talking about the property and beautiful gardens, but I wasn't able to get the information I needed about care and services. Two weeks later, my questions about hospice still haven't been answered.<br>I will say the grounds were very well maintained, and the residents we saw seemed happy.<br>At the end of the tour, we were given a bottle of liquor, possibly champagne. I explained that my husband and I are both in recovery and couldn't accept it, but Anelta insisted anyway. I would suggest offering chocolates or a baked good instead.<br>Overall, my recommendation is to have better-informed tour representatives who can answer families' important questions such as care service offerings.<br><br>Update 8/27: My emails have not been answered and my calls to Anelta have still not been returned. Ironically enough this review has been followed by three 5 star reviews all who have also reviewed the Fort Meyers Library (very small world, I guess these 3 facility plants all frequent the same library.)

The community and team I met when visiting recently were absolutely pleasant. I was greeted throughout the entire visit and was even able to speak with some of the individuals living there, who had nothing but positive things to say. The staff were all extremely friendly and kind. I had a very thorough visit where all of my questions were answered. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor spaces are very well maintained. I can see why everyone appeared so happy while there

I highly recommend, without reservation, The Ambassador of Scarsdale. My husband’s quality of life and longevity were increased during his residence there. The accommodations are excellent, the food is delicious and varied, and the activities are many and outstanding, but the main advantage is the amazing staff from President Jean Dumphy and her crew to all those they have hired. Everyone is knowledgeable, caring, kind and respectful of each resident’s dignity. A special shoutout to Jean, Joshy, Tara, Karen, Kristin, Nana, Belinda, Evan, Yaw, Henry, Mark and Jeff. Yes, we call everyone by their first names and they all do the same to our visiting family and friends, whom they made it their business to recognize and know. We will be forever grateful for the care given to my husband and us.
