Dad was at NHC the last 2 nights. My mom went in his room at 7am yesterday and he was on an empty oxygen tank and his oxygen was 44. Today my sister went in early and he was unresponsive. They said he was dying and she asked about his sugar. It was 40 and they said he had a DNR. That doesnt mean to not manage his diabetes. One of the nurses called 911 and the paramedics treated him and got him conscious. 2 mornings in a row he almost died. He will not be going back.

Do not send your loved one here. They let my grandfather run out of oxygen and also let his sugar get to a dangerous level. We are also filing several complains with the state and the Better business Burreau.

I visited a patient. She was in a room where they were playing trivia. There was a puzzle on a table for working, and evidence of other games. I was impressed that the staff was keeping residents entertained with brain games to help keep their memories fresh!

I thought I had reviewed this facility but I couldn’t find it to add to it. My dad is in hospice care at Cavett Hill NHC. We did get off to a rocky start but it has been such a huge blessing to be here. I cannot stress how wonderful everyone is. From the administration to nursing staff to the techs to the housekeeping to kitchen staff. Each and everyone has been special to us. My dad has enjoyed every morsel of food he’s consumed. He has always been a big eater. When he says the food is good, it is good. Our hearts and souls are deeply grateful for Alicia, Matt, Dani, Arlindie, Natalie, Brianna, Melissa, Barbara, Misty, Serena, IJ, Stephanie, and if I left you out, I’m so sorry. I have a list but I can’t get up and make noise.

One LPN though gave me the wrong medication and it sent me into a bed an sleeping all day.when I confronted her and the head nurse this nurse said she corrected the problem I said it must have been on paper. The food was awful always cold always even the soup ! Eating cold soup and cold potatoes is nasty.. they can't keep any cooks and don't know why you would call them cooks same food everyday M -F 7- days a week nothen changes I feel sorry for those that have to stay. So yea the food needs alot of improvement it should be different and hot
