So this is a day in the life of being a resident at Zahav of Berwyn. I’ve been asking for three days for someone to come and empty my garbage can — still nothing. Every time I ask, I’m told I should’ve said something sooner, even though I’ve been asking for the past two days straight. THE ORGANIZATION REPLY TO COMMENT PHONE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED 🤣 I also asked for sanitation wipes — apparently they don’t have any. I asked for a mop and broom so I could clean myself, but that request was brushed off too. They don’t even have enough CNAs to do a simple linen change, so I’ve been making my own bed. Here are photos and short video clips showing the current state of my room. I’m sharing this because residents deserve basic cleanliness and dignity — especially in a care facility. And to be completely honest, this is only scratching the surface of the many, many, many, many instances of medical negligence, unprofessional behavior, and unsanitary practices that go on here every single day. I’m a current resident, and I know that posting this will probably lead to threats, intimidation, or bullying tactics from the facility — but at this point, a person can only take so much. Someone has to speak up about what’s really happening here. It’s a real shame, because there actually are a few genuinely good employees here — both nurses and incredable CNAs — along with some wonderful residents who truly deserve better. Unfortunately, the ownership and leadership are terrible. They seem more focused on squeezing every last penny than on investing in the comfort, care, and dignity of the people who live here. I will not be silenced. I will not be shut down. And I will not allow myself to be demonized or labeled as a “behavioral problem” simply for speaking the truth and calling out the powers in charge for their incompetence. Every resident here deserves better — and I refuse to stay quiet about it.

PEOPLE IN CHARGE TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. IF YOU DO COME HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!. LIKE WHY IS IT THAT THEY DON'T HAVE SUPPLIES AVAILABLE SOMETHING SIMPLE LIKE TOILET PAPER YES TOILET PAPER.<br>IF YOU WANT MORE PROOF LOOK AT MEDICARE'S OVERALL RATING OF ONE ⭐. WHEN IT COMES TO MEDICINES YOU WILL ALWAYS HEAR "IT'S NOT HERE YET, WE'LL CALL THE PHARMACY,AND THE MOST FAMOUS LINE LET ME GO GET SOME FROM SOMEONE ELSE"<br>WHICH I DO BELIEVE IS ILLEGAL IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN.
