I went to the Center for Newington schools art show. It was very neat and well-organized, but too hot with 500 people in there trying to see their kids artwork!!!!!! 🙀

I have been playing pickleball here for almost a year now. You do need to register every week to play, either online or in person or on the phone. Unfortunately only one court as is typical with most Senior Centers but you sure can't beat the price. The center provides the balls and even a paddle if you need one. It does get a bit warm and stuffy in the gym in the summer but way better than playing outside. Barbara Wormer is the best, she will try to help with any request you may have.

Twice a year there is a huge book sale hosted by the library, supporting the library. Donate books, DVDs, games, etc. to the library, and then go to the book sale to get great prices (most things about $1).

Very helpful for any questions. This I see one of the best senior center around. I especially like the wording including disability. Recommend highly.
