Great Staff! Nurses, caregivers, cleaners, food staff. Everyone is friendly and polite! Shout out to Junior, Maria and Luz, for the patience and kindness they show to my sister Linda and for listening to family members. My sister just said to me the other day that had she known how much easier it was to be here than at home she would have come 6 months earlier. I’m not usually there when Hospice comes as I go early in the morning but the family says they are awesome in the care of my sister. Thank you to Heather the Nursing Director who always listens and counsels the family.

My mother was a patient at Bel-Air Manor and I and her family were totally pleased with her care. From the Administrative Staff. the Receptionists, the Nurses, the Aides, and the House Keeping staff, they all treated her with dignity and kindness as if she was part of their own family. The Recreation staff went out of their way to include her in the activities and programs which kept her interested and able to socialize with others. The food was outstanding and the staff went out of their way to try and carter to her preferences. The family and I can not say enough about the dedication of the Physical Therapy Department. They worked with mom weekly to keep her as mobile as possible and even when is was difficult for her their encouragement kept her doing her best.. She actually looked forward to her time in therapy.

Bel-Air Manor provided excellent care for my mom. 7 years ago my mom was on the rehab side and they worked hard to get my mom moving again. 2 years ago my mom had another bad fall which required rehab and then turned into permanent residence at Bel-Air. My mom loved all the staff at Bel-Air so much. They all treated her like family. She enjoyed participating in all the activities (ie bingo, painting, making bracelets). I truly felt at peace knowing that my mom was in good hands at bel air. I was ajways greeted by the receptionists, the cleaning crew, the aids, food staff, accounting, rehab crew, speech therapist, recreation staff and nurses. They were all wonderful. As my mom’s conditioned worsened, all the aids and nurses worked so hard to make sure my mom was happy and felt loved. I miss my mom but I’m going to miss the staff at bel air as well. They became like family to us and I will be forever grateful for their dedication towards providing the best possible care for my mom.

Our family member has been in residence for over 7 years. In that time we have established many healthy relationships. From the Administrator and professional receptionists in the lobby to all areas of staffing (i.e. Nursing, CNAs, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Dietary, Recreation and Rehab) we are always acknowledged and greeted with warmth and courtesy. Our loved one feels safe, seen and heard, all of which are of utmost importance to us. Bel Air Manor ranks high with our family in the midst of many other CT nursing and rehabilitation facilities.

I had an incredible experience at Bel Air. Medical staff very attentive, and all the other staff such as nursing , food service, recreation, etc… made it clear from day one that they were there for my rehab and comfort. They have a very hard job, but interact smoothly. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. Thank you for taking such good care. P.s. the PT staff are the reason why Ii’m back home. They targeted the most effective exercises ti get me back on my feet. Again, thank you. Martin
