To our friends at Morningstar in Longmont:

The care and compassion you all have shown Melinda, and our entire family, is remarkable. We’re understandably very sad that she has declined so quickly, but we are all so grateful she was cared for under such a competent and professional group of dedicated, genuinely compassionate people. We are in awe of the kind, and quality, of people that can do this day in and day out - especially in the memory care environment. Truly a blessing.

Every individual we worked with from the very beginning has been wonderful. That’s uncommon when dealing with any organization that truly is in service to people. Allison, Stevie, Judy, Christie, Kellaway, the therapists and all the rest of the staff have simply been great. Great! The Bloom group has also been so professional and conscious of keeping us informed and educated. A big thank you to April and Darci, especially during the hospice period.

Bottom Line: Kudos to the entire staff at Morningstar.

You hear and read so many negative things surrounding the care of the elderly in the world today. Particularly in the dementia and Alzheimers space. At the outset I had some real reservations and concerns in that regard - mostly from stories of friends and relatives who had such poor experiences with “senior care”. (Not to mention what can be read online, which is always suspect and often biased - regardless of the topic). So, it is just incredibly nice to have had the complete opposite experience with your organization. We can’t thank you all enough.

Sincerely,

Mark, Jeanie, Michelle & Hannah
