Update July 2026<br>When my dad returned to our home in Colorado last year, we once again turned to Visiting Angels to help provide his care. What mattered most to us was finding caregivers who would genuinely connect with him not just help with task. That’s exactly what we’ve found. Our regular crew Jess, Leah, Marcus, and recently Sherry sit with him, talk with him and truly engage him. They also are good about sticking to the routines we’ve established over time - exercise, getting outside that work for my dad.<br>We’ve also appreciated how flexible and kind the office staff have been addressing any concerns we’ve had and adjusting his hours when needed and they work directly with the veterans administration, which has been a big help since my dad has veterans benefits. We’re so grateful to have Visiting Angels caregivers particularly the consistent warmth and kindness they bring to their jobs.<br>We have used Visiting Angels these past few months for my dad‘s home care and we had a wonderful aide Makayla. Makayla was very professional. She was always on time. She did all of the things that we had agreed to as far as tidying up his space, helping with his laundry, and getting his meals. And most importantly, she was so warm and kind with my dad. They developed a sweet friendship - he will miss her when he heads back to his home.
