Jessica Jackson is the activity director and does a phenomenal job everyday keeping the residents engaged, active and socializing with one another. For my mother’s 100th birthday, Jessie coordinated the best celebration my mother ever had in her life. What she says she will do she does! She communicates clearly and follows through with her responsibilities . The facility provided the decorations and food while making sure their staff brought most of the residences to the dining area to enjoy the live entertainment by Tony Farina and to meet and greet Dickie Noles, a former World Series pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. Our family provided the extras which was minimal considering the effort delivered by the staff. I never witnessed so many smiles and people moving to the beat in their wheelchairs , including my mother. Everyone at Morningside Assisted Living seemed to have enjoyed themselves. The staff made our family feel just as special as my mother on her big day , having a designated table for our large group and serving us first! We didn’t have to do anything but to enjoy this special moment with our dear mother. Overall, it was a very successful event our family will never forget and is forever grateful to EVERYONE present who helped make this day so special not just for my mother and family but to ALL the residences who ventured out of their rooms to share our moment! Forever grateful and thankful to this wonderful establishment who went above and beyond ! The Sawchuk Family
