The Good

Tim K has been an absolute dream. He is incredibly passionate and patient. One of the best Physical Therapist in the county! He works hard to ensure the patient receives the best treatment. Mission health is so fortunate to have someone so caring and attentive. 10/10 would recommend!

I had high hopes for the rehab. I was scheduled to receive from Mission healthcare. The first therapist that came to see me was terrific. But, then there was the second therapist and the third therapist. That is correct, I had three therapist and five visits. When you need Home health, I recommend you find a different company to work with.

I was misled by all the slick marketing hype on their website. So many false promises made, but never kept! I’m a very ill 72 year old bedridden senior who is debilitated by severe nerve pain particularly at night so I sleep during the day. Prior to coming on board, I requested primarily one nurse who could come during late afternoon hours 1 to 2x week to give me an injection. Living alone and isolated, having a personal relationship with my nurse is an important priority for me. Given nurses do need to be replaced occasionally I was reassured by the admissions rep this would not be a problem as “they had plenty of nurses.“ I find out quickly it’s totally the opposite of what I was promised. The nurse named Bridget whom I was told I was assigned to came only once, then went on vacation for two months never to be heard from again. It’s only been a series of musical chairs with a plethora of different nurses who wanted to come earlier hours which was incompatible with my needs. Had I been aware of this, i would have never come on board! The office staff is disorganized, uncommunicative and non responsive. Another review nailed it: Too many moving parts & one hand did not know what the other had done. In addition to the lack of concern for my scheduling needs, I repeatedly requested the agency’s social worker to assist with urgent issues without response. I was in ER several times. Without a nurse familiar with me, no one at Missions was even aware I was there. No one had been checking on me at all. Admissions only tells you what you want to hear, so next time I’m going to insist on what i need!

If you’re looking for quality home health care for yourself or a loved one, avoid this company at all costs. The therapists are some of the worst I’ve ever encountered—completely unprofessional, consistently late, unreliable, and everything is delayed. Mission Home Health is a nightmare, especially if you’re assigned RN Janine. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

Pro: Anna PT Chaeli (Shay*lee) OT Christian PT Colleen OT They provide you the tools, you need to do the work! Con: Don't offer outpatient OT/PT Can run a bit late(explanation below*) ADA: A This is a review for "Mission Home Health" and my second time using them. I can not thank the team who helped me regain some of my mobility, confidence, strength, and happiness enough! Anna, Chaeli (Shay*lee), Christian, & Colleen are the most amazing Physical Therapist(PT)/Occupational Therapist(OT) I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Extremely communicative, fun, optimistic, and always willing to work around you! Mind you, my schedule is extremely flexible, so when there're slight changes to my appt dates/time, it doesn't affect me too much*. You have to understand that they're traveling from patient to patient with little to no break in between, say for their drive. Knowing that, plus seeing how far some have to drive in between clients, gave me a whole new understanding of these caregivers. That being said, if your schedule is already tight, make sure your PT/OT understands that so they can make sure that the time/date(s)byou both specify will be abided by. Made recommendations to make my home safer(OT), and since putting those in place has offered me more confidence and safety! I wholeheartedly recommend Mission Home Health to get you back on track with your recovery needs for in home. I am happy to say that they've assisted me so much that I am able to now transfer to Outpatient PT! Send your team my best wishes!
