My mom has lived here 10 yrs & it is definitely not like it use to be. The RENT is too high. The rent goes up every year $150-$200. This is a senior citizen building people are living off FIXED INCOMES. The elevator is always BROKE. My mom had a Christmas Eve party on which the elevator was down & then again this wk. A man was seen trying to go down the stairs with his walker. Tht is totally UNACCEPTABLE for a senior citizen building. Every event they have you have to pay for. Never can they ever give back. All of Boulevard Towers events are ALWAYS FREE. On the 2nd floor garbage room has needed a bulb in the ceiling light for like a year now. Hasn't been replaced yet. It's too dark in there. Now you kno the maintenance guy has to have been tht it has needed a 💡. All they are interested in is collecting RENT. The only good thg about the apartments is they keep it salted in the winter & plowed....yes bc tht is definitely a LAWSUIT if someone FALLS....and they have bus transportation tht takes the tenants grocery shopping several times a wk. It should be a LAW put in place tht you can't go up but so much on a person's rent. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you don't mind your rent going up $150-$200 every year. They are getting RICHER & the POOR people are getting POORER. They need CONTROLLED RENT. You have other thgs to pay for besides RENT. The best Receptionist they ever had was JACKIE....which is no longer there.
