The program is so OK but they test me for positive for drugs that I never use drug and they release me from another program

I probably should have wrote this review sooner! This is my second home! And Tawanna Spriggs was a great director! The staff were absolutely amazing! I did close to 2 years of my Recovery journey there and during that time, is the time that finally stuck! I've got 2 years and 7 months clean now! So thank you samaritan village! Thank you Tawanna, and her amazing team!

So the first things I would like to share about this facility.. it was a pleasant experience for me,, some of the counselors are really caring and will get you back to your good normal self again as long as u commit to get better. Second this is not designed to be a 90 day program.. u can come in and leave in 90 days . But it is designed to have u recovered with 6 to 9 months.. but if u do as I did and commit to 90 days and u feel have recovered u can leave as u please . Third .. the chefs are good.. really good meals don’t believe what they say .. I gained almost 30 pounds in 3 months from chef derricks tasty meals.. all in all it not a vacation your main focus is recovery and getting help ..they offer many classes n meetings to assist you in getting the help u need.. I would recommend van wyck to anyone who ask .. I feel it was where I was meant to get my recovery.. you have to help ur self get in there and start the road to succeed don’t let noting or no one stop you from coming in and saving ur life please .. Im so thankful to van wyck and it staff for helping me.. God is good please love yourself live for yourself and take the help .

the director Tawanna is the main women who pulls lays down all these rules and stays hidden behind the curtain she treats like we’re aren’t human and it isn’t right we as humans deserve every right to have our cell phones , why is this the only program that has this rule, please do waist your time comming here nothing good will come out of it
