Myself and my family were beyond impressed with Mayo Healthcare. The administrative staff is kind and knowledgable. The nursing staff is quick to respond and thourough. The facility is clean and bustling with good energy. My father was able to feel at home which is what mattered most. Having experienced other healthcare facilities that were appalling, Mayo is truly a shining star.

My Father in Law has come so far in the care of all of these awesome people! He was temporarily in a genesis owned property and developed sores on his feet, couldn't get out of bed, they left him alone in his bed for days, now he's wheeling himself around in his wheelchair, eating real food and communicates very well! The employees here love what they do for people.

If there were more stars, the staff at Mayo deserves them. This includes the nursing staff, housekeeping, maintenance, dining and activities. My mom was a resident there for over four years. My family could not have asked for better care for her. She was loved. She had memory loss, yet was aware of the activities being announced. The staff would pop in to remind her and bring her to the events. It kept her involved in life with all of her neighbors at Mayo. They were also amazing and cared for her deeply. She may not have been able to remember, yet she benefited from the multitude of kindness surrounding her daily.
During her final ten days we stood watch, my siblings and I. The staff inquired to see if we needed anything and provided support and nourishment. We also felt the love. Mayo was a blessing for all of her years there, we cannot thank them enough, everyone there.
With sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks,
Kathy

I recently moved to Vermont and have attended several events at Mayo Healthcare & Residential Care. The Activity program is very impressive, and the staff amazingly approachable and helpful.

The memorial I attended truly brought me to tears because it provided a biography for each person's life which I found very personal, and touching for the families who attended.

The facility has spacious rooms, courtyard, outdoor space, and a walking path. All in all this is an amazing organization and non-profit!
