We had to place my dad in Chestnut Place's memory care wing about three years ago, when after a stroke and a fall at Christmas time visiting family the ER doctors insisted that he could no longer live alone. He recovered from the stroke at an awful rehab facility, and we were able to get him into Chestnut Place as soon as we could. It was an oasis. Chestnut Place is a well kept, newer construction with a well-planned design. He was safe day and night. He had his own private room with his own accessible bathroom, big sunny windows, with nurses and aides right outside his door. The memory care residents have their meals together, and the food was very good, nutritious, and served with love. He had access to a lovely garden area, living room, and dining room for residents. He had access to Chestnut Place’s wheelchair accessible van for his doctors appointments. The staff coordinated with us and his doctor to manage his medications and supplies. Therapists worked with him to keep his body and mind working for as long as possible. When it was time, the staff alerted us and helped arrang hospice for him. The staff was amazing, professional, and caring. It was tough to see him decline, and they understood his condition. Right up to and including my dad’s dying day, right there in his home away from home, they embraced him for the character he was and shepherded him and us through the many stages. We will never forget the kindness and generosity they showed us and more importantly him. We're so grateful. Thank you and please keep up the good work for patients, their families, and your excellent staff.

We were charged 3000 dollars for water damage to the carpet for a flood that occured when the ac unit leaked water, the room was damaged to the point where they moved her to another room, fixed the ac unit, moved her back and gave us a final bill upon her passing for 3000 dollars for damage to the carpet. Trully a sad company ownership, just be aware and document everything.

The quality of the food they feed the people is not chef prepared like they say it is. Its all pre-made, and seems low quality.<br>It cost over $3700.00 a month to live there.

As we pass the 2 year anniversary of settling my mom into Chestnut Place, we continue to be so pleased with all that it offers. For us, the cheerful staff provides a welcoming and convivial place to come visit. More importantly, for her, it is a comfortable, secure and friendly place to call home.

We moved my father to Chestnut Place in October of 2023. He currently resides in the Assisted Living area of the building. The nursing staff is wonderful, as are all the staff that we have encountered. Maintenance and Housekeeping do everything they can to keep the facilities clean and comfortable. I spend a lot of time there, and it really is very enjoyable.
