We have been clients for 3+ years. We don’t live in a perfect world. But, we have been fortunate to have had good matches for our family. Our nurses and coordinators have been wonderful. They have also worked to fit our calendar needs. They have been gracious and kind. We are grateful and appreciate our coordinators and nurses.

Had a fantastic recruiter (who is unfortunately no longer at the company) who helped me find a great patient to work with. Thankful for the scheduling manager Tabitha who does a great job being flexible and supportive. The company has room for improvement on their communication with nurses. There is no notification when a nursing supervisor leaves - I emailed one and didn’t hear a response for several days. Turns out she no longer works for Maxim. Also, I am thankful to have an excellent family to work for that communicates to me if the next nurse had a change in shift. If it wasn’t for them I would not know as Maxim does not communicate those updates.

I have been working with Maxim in Roanoke for seven months. In that time I have found them great to work for. Time off or last minute illness requests have been taken in stride. The pay is fair, paid weekly and free training and recertifications are available if needed. I enjoy a lot of autonomy and work closely with the family, communicating any needs or changes with the office. Other colleagues have been more than willing to help and offer suggestions. Office staff have all been very supportive and accommodating but I have to say Torey and Tabitha are the absolute BEST! They make this the easiest job I’ve ever had. Jacqui Earley

I’ve been a RN with Maxim for almost 4 years now and I absolutely enjoy what I do and working for a company that is dedicated to the patients and families. All of the office staff are very friendly and supportive when you need to call them about something. If an issue arises they make sure to resolve it immediately. Maxim provides nurses with great opportunities and being with them for almost 4 years I have to say they keep getting better with each year. I’m very grateful to be a Maxim nurse.

Not sure why this review number is so low but I’d just like to give my opinion! I retired from a life long career of nursing and after a short season at home I realized I missed “the bedside”. Maxim Healthcare has been the perfect fit and answer! I’ve been employed part time here for almost 2 yrs. now and have absolutely loved the company, my patients and their families! Maxim has given me the opportunity to have a flexible schedule that truly fits my season of life. I have found them to be a caring, accountable and professional company that truly has the goal of meeting the needs of their clients while also caring for us as caregivers. I would highly recommend them as your next employer!
