My brother has been in a much better mood lately. He was even laughing On Wednesday, , which I haven’t heard in a long time. I believe the change in him is primarily due to his wound nurse. He says she’s patient with him and understanding of his limitations. Thank you, Spring Tree for the changes you made in his nursing care.

Mixed review. Samantha in Admissions was super. She took ownership to make sure that they get Beverly's BIPAP mask located. Sarah in Social Services is great as well. She listened to my concerns and made great suggestions.

Fred in Therapy cannot get on the same page with my wife. In at least 2 conversations with him, he keeps referring to the carrot and stick approach which does not seem to work. It also suggests that his approach is reward or punishment. This approach might work with children but not so much with adults. Beverly does not like to be talked down to or lectured like a child.

Fred needs to find a way to establish a PARTNERSHIP with Beverly. He needs to convince her that he is not fighting against her...he is actually fighting with her.

If someone in Administration can coach Fred, I think he can accomplish a lot with less friction.
