Great space! Felt welcomed from the very beginning! The administrator was helpful and answered questions honestly. Not to mention the cleanliness. If you're looking for a place that feels like a home away from home...this is the place!

The therapist are top notch. Nursing and CNA's are really hard workers. I witnessed positive interaction between the staff and patient while services were being provided. I really want to recognize Nurse Kelly Small and Social Worker Laura Hutchinson. They are excellent in thier field, great with communication, and availability to address patient and family concerns. They truly make a difficult or inconvenient situation easier to navigate. Kelly is a great mentor to her co-workers and a asset to Friendship North.

Badly managed facility, it definitely needs new and improved overall management here

Horrible place!! 3rd floor review. Most of the nurses are rude and disrespectful to the residents and visitors. (Not all, but there are more rude ones than good ones) The residents will sit in their own feces and urine for hours. I've seen fragile people jerked by their arms on multiple occasions. If a loved one asks for something or needs something for their family member, who is a resident, the staff cops an attitude and acts like you're a nuisance. Some of the staff talks down to the residents, acting like they don't have memory loss...example "I've told you that x amount of times, you know you're not supposed to do that." I've even heard one of the CNA's tell a resident "if you want to lose some fingers" when one wondered into the kitchen area, asking if she could get something out of the refrigerator. The food tables and chairs are always nasty too. Many of the nurses are too busy on their phones and gossiping between themselves, for everyone to hear, rather than providing the care they are supposed to be providing. I know a lot of people don't have a choice of where to put their loved ones, but please reconsider if you're looking here. Side note, there are many worse ones around too. Prayers for all.

Well i would love to give a good review but I can't considering my mother in law lived there on the independent side for 4 years. The apartment was spotless when she left and they like to keep the majority of the security deposit saying its for paint and nail holes. 1....only command strips were used on the walls and 2....lied about the apartment being painted prior to move in. 3....no candles no smoking no nothing on the walls...she lived there watching tv, eating, sleeping, not like anyone was rubbing the walls to make them dirty. For someone living on a fixed income holding almost all of the security deposit over paint seems very greedy. I gladly would have bought a can of paint and took care of the problem for $50. Not to mention the rent is too high for that area of town. Please if you have somewhere else for your loved ones to live you should defiantly go that route.
