Martha Jefferson House is an independent living, assisted living, and long-term nursing care community located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Founded in 1957 by local philanthropist Hunter Carlyle Perry, this non-profit senior living community is centered around an elegant 1921 Georgian-style brick mansion situated at the end of a private cul-de-sac near the University of Virginia.

The community offers a range of living arrangements to suit different needs. Independent living residents choose from spacious one and two-bedroom apartments in the Perry Wing with modern kitchens, charming suite apartments original to the 1921 mansion with unique historical features, or cozy studio and suite apartments in Hunter's Way. Assisted living accommodations feature exclusive options that preserve the community's historic character. Long-term nursing care includes 24 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms staffed by licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, and a Medical Director.

Brookwood Therapeutic Services operates on-site and provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to both residents and the outpatient community. Physical therapy focuses on restoring movement and function, occupational therapy helps residents maintain independence in daily activities, and speech therapy addresses communication and swallowing concerns.
