I was sent to Albemarle Health and rehab after spending 35 days at the UVA after a bad car crash.I spent 1 and 1/2 months at the rehab.I did do some therapy and was helping me to walk again. The therapists were exelent. The place is not sanitary.no soap in restrooms to wash hands. No washclothes or towels to take showers. They never wiped off trays or armrests in rooms.a few of the nurses were rude only 3. C N A,s did their job and they know who they are, without complaint. The last week I was there I was sick all week and told them I needed to go to hospital, but they ignored me.Saterday came and my colostomy bag leaked all over me bed and clothes.I called the nurses station 5 times f

Otor help no one came until 5th time.Ive been in Martha Jefferson,9 days and been treated with the best of care.Places like Albemarle health and rehab should not be allowed to take care of anyone.

We have a loved one at this facility and their approach to patient services are absolutely lacking. Upon arrival we had to seek out an agent to ask about intake process, get clear on expectations and the ongoing care is awful. My loved one has fallen, is getting fed terrible food, and the leadership has given the appearance of interest in what is happening but they do not make changes. If another facility has an opening we are moving out!!!
