We have had a wonderful experience at Markham House. The staff are kind and caring - they are friendly and create a space that feels really comfortable and safe for the residents. Dad was quite resistant to the idea of moving to assisted living and the community at Markham House has made it a great transition where he is now settled, enjoys meals with new friends, and cheerful smiles and support from the staff. Thank you to all of the Markham House community!

Our father just passed last week after 18 months in hospice at Markham House. We are so grateful he was at Markham for the care during the end of his life. The entire staff was always supportive of him and the family. He would light up when they walked into the room to check on him. It gave us great comfort to know he was in such good care.

On a practical side the pricing was fair and reasonable and we were always kept in the loop as his needs changed.

The front desk attendant Erin is very rude and unprofessional.
I was looking to get in contact with a certain department but she was not helpful in pointing me in the right direction to be helped. Instead she hung up in my face twice saying the call was a waste of her time.

Choosing memory care for a loved one is an emotional decision, and Markham House Assisted Living made us feel supported every step of the way. From our first visit, the staff were welcoming, patient, and genuinely compassionate. They took the time to get to know our loved one and made sure we felt comfortable asking questions, no matter how small.
