About Luling Living Center

Family experiences at the center vary significantly. Recent reviewers highlight attentive dietary staff who accommodate individual preferences and ensure residents eat well, a clean facility, and a caring atmosphere where residents gather in common areas. Physical therapy staff have been noted for their encouragement during rehabilitation. However, earlier reviews raised concerns about medication management, staff conduct toward residents, and safety protocols—one family described their experience as problematic, while another noted a safety incident during a transfer that should not have occurred in a professional care setting.

Since it reopened last year from the damages of Hurricane Ida, this nursing home has been top notch! Everyone living there seems happy and my mom is having the best time! I can be at ease knowing she’s in good hands. The dietary department always makes sure everyone is well fed. They cater to picky eaters. My mom is actually eating well and not junk and as a result, she’s shedding some lbs. Mrs Betty is the social director and she keeps residents busy with lots of activities. Visiting my mom is the best time of the day. Keep it up yall!

By far one of the best nursing homes my mother was in. Very clean and had a good caring staff. I was devastated when Ida destroyed this quaint home away from home. They were amazing to my mother. I can not wait for them to reopen. I hope they’re able to take my mom back when they do. The residents would gather together and enjoy each others company in the common areas. It was just such a great environment for my mother. Compared to some of the other places she’s been in this place was golden. I will be calling to move her when it’s time. I’m not saying where she’s at is bad but it’s not Luling Living Center by no means.

This is the most horrible nursing home probably in the state along with a few others. I had my husband in there and he was not taken care of his medication‘s were wrong the people that worked in there were very mean rude and just not willing to work with the patience. If your patient needs more care than you can give them then I suggest search nursing homes call patients advocate. never let them know when you’re coming to visit them more chance for them to hide the terrible things they are doing. No one should be treated the way these people treated my husband along with other people in there. I talked to quite a few of the patients and their relatives None of the relative said anything very good to say about the nursing home I would suggest you skip this home and try for another they are not caring people there they’re not license aids and I’m not sure about the nurses but most of them were very rude to

A client of mine came here for rehabilitation after having back surgery. I thought physical therapy were nice and really tried to encourage I’m to get up.. there was a incident where he had to be lowered to the ground because one failed to lock the bed before sitting him back down. I get accidents happened but when in a facility that just should have happened. On top of the mans size they should of had more support to catch him for when he did fall.... but the nurses in charge of cleaning and changing patients where lazy. My client had gotten such a bad rash from having to sit in his own for such long periods. Multiple times I have walked by the nursing station and seen them on there phones ignoring calls to rooms..

My, mother 84 was living independently. Until recently. Her doctor and a senior social worker recommend that she should consider a senior living center. After, researching several in the area. We decided on here. Now, that she's living at LLC. Her, health and out look has improved, greatly. I find the management, staff to be caring of the facility [constantly maintained] and it's residents [individual needs met, in addition too daily group activities]. Which overall makes it a satisfying for everyone.
